Q: Why are they wet? i was expecting crunchy roasted nuts. i've never ordered roasted nuts that were wet before. seems weird... is it?

Nothing weird about them. If you were to roast your own chestnuts you would not get a crunchy nut. A roasted chestnut is soft and tender. These soft and tender Galil chestnuts are actually superior to other brands. We heat them in the microwave for 20 seconds and that reduces the wetness slightly. But soft and tender is what you want. These are excellent.

Dont know where they are grown but they are delicious!!
