I've used these for with my winter boots for chores outside as our snow melted into hard, slick ice in our yard. I navigated our small downhill to the chicken yard securely and back up hill again without issue. These worked equally well with my sneakers on a some short hikes with spotty areas and were easy to take off and put back on again as needed.

I like that these are just right for walking on ice and snow. They are easy to slip on over any shoe the only thing that bothers me about them is they tend to shift and get kinda crooked while walking in them but they haven't slipped off the shoes so far. I got them because the sidewalks are on my place get icy this time of year and I have to be able to walk my dog no matter what the weather is like and these have been a lifesaver. No more slipping and falling and they have really good grip on ice and they're not very expensive either. If you're thinking about trying them, do it!

These work like magic on the sheets of ice covering north Texas in this ice storm. Highly recommend for when you still need to walk the dog even in freezing temperatures!

Fits well and prevents sliding

This simple affordable product is a life saver. Quickly and easily attaches to any shoe (except Crocs) boot or sneaker. They make walking on an icy driveway or sidewalk so must safer. You can walk with confidence because you feel the small spikes gripping the ice and creating stability with each step. After the first use to get into my office after an icy commute, two of the doctors I work for wanted to know what was on my sneakers. I showed them. After inspecting the grippers they both ordered a set immediately. A small yet might product.

After wrenching these on to my boots for a first try, they did not hold up well. Spikes came loose and fell out, then I actually lost one as it migrated off my boot during my hike. Super disappointed. I’m a size 9 ladies.
