Has a slight taste but doesn't hurt my morning smoothie too much. Be careful opening the package because the extra fine powder can go everywhere. I ended up going outside and transferring to a pint mason jar to make it easier to spoon out of. The pouch can get messy.

I’ve been using this spirulina daily in my morning smoothies, and it has made a noticeable difference in my energy and mood. I guess, according to web, some people like the flavor. I do not and i added it to a smoothy which made me dislike the smoothy. So i put it in a jar shake with water amd drink it as fast as i can. It has an ocean taste, not fishy. But it reminds me of the way the beach smells. Not horrible , but i always have another beverage waiting to take away the flavor. I drink it because it makes me feel better. I feel more alert and have less brain fog. I feel energized and stronger, which are all good things for some one over 6o to feel! I drink it daily.
