Affordable
This is such a great quality camera, I got another one! An affordable option for new streamers, or if you just want a nice quality camera for work or gaming.

Fantastic quality for a great price
When this came back in stock for about $100, I grabbed it immediately. I haven’t bought a Razer product before, but I had heard good things about the brand. First off, the picture quality is absolutely amazing. It is by far the best quality I’ve ever had from any webcam. This looks like “streamer” quality video even at low light. I haven’t really needed the ring light as much as I thought it would, because every other webcam needed more light where I was sitting. So, low light performance is really good out of the box! Adjusting the light is very intuitive, turning the dial brightens and darkens it. I do wish I could go to just a little bit lower level of light on its lowest setting, even after using the software to change it as low as possible. The viewing angle is also great and you can make a lot of adjustments with the stand. It fits perfectly on my oddly shaped monitor. The auto focus is very quick and performs better than others I’ve used. The driver software has a lot of extra options for tweaking the image, but overall the program seems bloated as I’m sure it’s intended for people who are already in the Razer ecosystem. If you’re just using the webcam, it feels a bit excessive, and it makes it less of a plug-and-play solution as it recommends you reboot after the installation. I wish there was a lighter driver installation for just being a webcam. Windows 10 did get the drivers straight off the internet without me having to find them on their website or pop in a CD.Everything compatibility wise is there, you can use Zoom or OBS without a problem. One great thing about this is that it includes a microphone, and it works well. Unfortunately there’s no switch to turn it off. There’s also no privacy cover for the camera either. You’ll just have to unplug it to turn it completely off. But, it is easy to push it towards the ceiling when you’re done. The build quality of the camera itself also feels great. It doesn’t feel fragile or cheap at all. The position adjustments hold into place really well and don’t sink into a direction you don’t want.Really, if you think about it, a high quality web cam sensor, a ring light, and a microphone built-in all for $100 is a great deal. If you need a webcam, I would recommend this over anything else I’ve seen on the market in 2020, especially at this price point.

Lasted 3 years
I bought a Kiyo in early 2022 and it died in early 2025. It had light use of less than two hours a week on average, with some weeks having heavy use and most having light use. The image quality was fairly good and minimal problems along the way. While the ring light has a good dimmer, I wish the lowest setting was dimmer still.Overall it was good while it lasted but I'd have hoped for a longer life for what was a fairly good webcam at time of purchase. I'd say its better value if you want image quality over reliability.

Died in Less Than a Year - Unacceptable Lifespan
I purchased this Razer Kiyo webcam in November 2024 and for about 10 months, it worked as expected. The video quality was decent and the ring light was a nice feature. However, the reliability is completely unacceptable. Last week, while I was in the middle of recording a video, the webcam started flickering uncontrollably and then died completely. It is now totally unresponsive and will not turn on, no matter what I try.For a product from a major brand like Razer to fail in under a year from what appears to be a hardware short circuit is incredibly disappointing. A webcam should be a reliable piece of equipment that lasts for several years, not something that suddenly dies and ruins a project. While it worked, it was fine. But I cannot recommend a product with such a short and unpredictable lifespan. Potential buyers should be aware of these serious reliability issues before purchasing. I would advise looking elsewhere for a more durable and dependable webcam.

Amazing camera, would definitely recommend.
When I bought this, I didn’t expect it to be this good. One feature I really love is how easily you can tilt it up or down with a simple push - perfect if you're a bit paranoid about a camera always pointing at you. I never even installed the Razer software; my Windows PC recognized it instantly and it works flawlessly. The resolution is crisp - just a great camera overall.

Great camera, but known future issues.
Works great and installs easily, however there is known issue where the camera stops working due to hardware and fix requires soldering, which is beyond my capabilities. Likely will work fine for a year and then will start buzzing and disconnecting.
