This tv stand is a great value for the price. It is obviously made of mdf but the completed stand is extremely sturdy. It looks more expensive than it is. I am a 50-something female and I was able to put it together by myself. There are a lot of pieces but everything is clearly labeled. The instructions are pictures only but easy to follow. It took me about 2 and a half hours to complete but I kept stopping to watch the football game. It's not hard to put together but it is very time consuming. It wouldn't have taken me as long to complete if I had waited on my husband to get home from work so that he could help me.A lot of the reviewers stated that their unitarrived damaged. My unit arrived in pristine condition.I only purchased the unit because I needed a tv stand and this stand is aesthetically gorgeous. I don't need the heater but it puts out a lot of heat.

We found this and at first, laughed, because really it’s the cutest idea!! Why haven’t we gotten one of these before!? Then, we couldn’t believe the PRICE.... then we ordered it and couldn’t believe how FAST it got here (2 days) Then we put it together and still can’t believe how much we love it!!!It is ALOT to put together but NOT HARD. Go slow and read the instructions carefully. (They are not great). if you follow them, it’ll eventually come together. Once it’s together you may have to wipe away a bit of glue (comes right off) and polish a bit from handling but you are going to be VERY happy. We put the fireplace on the front and at first we laughed, but then we turned it on! It’s the cutest!!! And within a few minutes the “fire” climbs and looks even better. The heater WORKS surprisingly well! Course it’s electric so we won’t be using it! But it ABSOLUTELY throws heat!! All around this is exactly what we wanted. It’s a great, sturdy tv stand, looks good, and the fireplace is the cherry on top... GET THIS.

The media could not be loaded. The Ameriwood Home Parsons Console Fireplace for TVs up to 65" in Espresso is much darker than expected. I like the darker color and am happy with how it looks. The fireplace is not easy to put together. It is relatively time-consuming. One of the boards was not predrilled like the rest and that took a large amount of time getting that fixed.The actual fireplace insert was absolutely hard to put in just as we read. A magnetized screwdriver is a very useful tool in this situation. We were able to do it without but it was not easy. There is limited hand space and the screw must go a long distance into a narrow channel.The reason why I chose this fireplace was that the flame was relatively realistic and there was an option to turn the heat off. It does not have a remote but some users put it on a smart switch. We have not tried this yet. It is sturdy and holds our tv, videos, games, and gaming equipment. This is what I expected and I am happy with my order.

Looks amazing completed. Packaged well. Instructions were picture only which for someone like me makes assembly challenging. Saying I am good at assembling furniture would be like saying frosty the snow man likes to sit near a fire. I am horrible and almost always mess something up. This assembly took me 3 hours but would have taken 2.5 hours if I hadn't been building it backwards. Yes pay attention to the little arrow that says front.Very happy with it. Looks great and heat out put is pretty good. Heats my basement/entertainment/office/excercise room well.Yes there were some minor scratches and the material is easy to damage. Take your time...use glue...and it will turn out fine.

The product is very nice looks great in my living room. The issue is is received the pieces to this item and some were bent and some were broken in half. I put it together still because of the event that I needed it for however I am very disappointed in that. I put it together and the top won’t go down fully because the top piece was bent so now it kinda sits up. Then both J pieces were broken in half. It’s the worst but I didn’t have time to return it so I put it together and put it up as best as I could.

Received today. Very heavy box, two person lift. It took my wife and I 2.2 hours to put it together. There was a ton of white snow like styrofoam that we had to clean up. Box arrived with a few Knicks in the product, and our first order got lost and we never received it. This is very sturdy, works very well with our 55 inch TV. With 2 shelves its capable of tons of equipment or decorations av or surround equipment. I've heard these have issues with the heating element going out, but there is an option to just have the effect going, which is what we wanted.

This product was very disappointing to say the least. Not only is it very cheep particle board material, but the cuts are sloppy and not straight. It came COVERED in dust and multiple scratches and even some gross crusty scuffs I had to scrub off. (Which makes me assume the facility this is made in is not clean or sanitary, UHM? EW 😷) The board was already separating as you can see in the photos I’ve included. Despite ALL these issues we attempted to put it together and let me just tell you. Putting this thing together was a nightmare! The long screws provided to assemble either would not screw in all the way and just keep spinning and never get fully tight or if they did it split the board as pictured. The absolute ONLY thing in good condition upon unboxing this is the fireplace. Definitely NOT WORTH $250! I would NOT RECOMMEND BUYING THIS! Save your time & money because this is not a cheep item and you will most likely be disappointed in the product you receive and the time you spend putting it together if it’s anything like the one I received.
