Vervain can taste downright dreadful if made into a tea (and I imagine an alcohol based tincture would be equally gross.) Hawaiian Pharm makes great quality tinctures and their vervain does not disappoint. They glycerine base makes the taste tolerable, if not pleasant. Held sublingually and in about 15 minutes, I'm no longer clenching my jaw, anxious, or wishing for an adult beverage while watching the kids run feral around our house. There is no "high" feeling for me, just a sense of calm. I have found I get more restful sleep as well after taking this (not every night.) I recommend vervain, especially this particular product to any of my friends or family that mention anxiety or sleep difficulties. I've made believers of most of them as well.

Woah. This stuff is awesome. If you deal with anxiety and agitation in high degrees, even to the point of being debilitating, where you almost don't even recognize yourself, then this stuff is for you. It's like putting a drop or 2 of liquid valium under your tongue. No, I'm not exaggerating. I don't recommend putting 30 drops in water like it says to do. That's just a waste and far more then you need. Just put a drop or 2 under your tongue. You'll be chillin and rid of your horrendous anxiety within a few minutes.

It has helped with sleep without side effects

I have had insanely bad insomnia for years, nothing has helped. Melatonin gave me brain fog and irregular sleep along with over bearing drowsiness. Valerian and passion flower didnt help. Magnesium, still no. Lavender essential oil from a nebulizer, the list goes on and on. This stuff actually helped me a lot with out giving me a "hang over". It doesnt work every time perfectly, but more often than not it does help. It's strong stuff and it does give you a little bit of a high, its the most comforting body high I have ever experienced. It doesnt slow my mind down quite as much as id like but It definitely helps. I'm sensitive, or just aware, to low doses of drugs. With that being said I do take into consideration proper doses. The recommended dose on this product is ABSURD! 20-30 drops 3 or 4 times a day. Why anyone would take more than a drop or 2 during the day is beyond me. I do not recommend such high doses. after 2 weeks I figured out 5 drops is perfect for sleep. If i wake back up i take 1 or 2 more drops and Ive found that to be more than enough. The second night I attempted to do between 20 and 30 dropps and it really messed me up. My body was completely out while my mind had this bizarre feeling and I couldn't think clearly and made my insomnia horrible. I said earlier, this stuff is strong so start off small. I don't have "anxiety" but I do notice if i take a small dose I feel more easy going and the little anxiety I do have is much less. For sure a product worth trying, glad I found this product.

I purchased this for a uterine cleanse (fertility boost/post-miscarriage) based on Dr. Deardruff's Taming the Dragon and Inner Transformations books. They suggest 10ml/day in a glass of water for 3 days then wait a week and repeat a few times. It's a bit bitter (as it's supposed to be) but I tolerated it easily. Sorry for the guys but... "Aunt Flo" was heavy but shorter than normal first cycle. Might come back and add more if anything else exciting/related comes up. Purchased a 2nd bottle for a friend doing the same.

This might be more ideal for youth in its potency. I usually give my hubby another brand and we found that we needed to use 3x of this product to equal the effects of the other brand we use. It is certainly very gentle on the system, but we had to use so much more and that was a dealbreaker

Capsules are probably better but great product and potency.

I have been suffering from prostatitis for many years and have tried almost everything under the sun. This is the only thing that has relieved my symptoms. I take 1 full dropper with 4 oz of water 2X day-when I wake up and before I go to bed. I am glad this product is alcohol free because it is a major irritant to me.
