It distributes heat extremely even across the pan. It works especially well when cooking on a gas stove. The magic of this pan comes out on the gas stove!!

I love this pan! I was a little concerned about the dimpled base but this works fine (heats, not too sticky, cleans) and causes no problems. I’ve cooked pasta sauces, curries, omelettes, chicken fajitas and meat with no issues. It’s a great looking pan so works well when serving directly from it at the table. Very happy. Looking forward to using for roast chicken, etc, in the oven. It’s not as large (tall) as I thought it would be so did consider swapping for the higher one but this has not proved to be a big concern. Construction is solid and this feels that it will last a lifetime - which is one of the reasons I bought Fissler. Works well on induction. The lid is thin which is my only minor criticism - not sure that will impact anything.

This is a great stainless steel pan. Works perfectly with induction appliances. I expect it to last many many years as the other profi line items I have.

We wanted to get away from non-stick but we’re a bit afraid of food sticking while being prepared. After watching countless YouTube videos on how to pre-heat, cooking at the right temperature, maintaining stainless steel pans and which fats to use - nothing sticks, at all. I would even say that it’s much easier to work with than traditional non-stick pans! Cleaning it is easy and effortless. Great quality. This won’t be the last thing we’ve bought from Fissler.

Yes it's a good pot, but would I buy it again, no? It should have been at least a centimeter higher, a centimeter narrower, so that it would have been more usable. Also, the interesting cover may be useful but it is also torture for the cabinet in the kitchen where I keep the covers. I give it 3.8 point
