Great book for kids.

I like everything about it so far! My almost 7-year-old hasn’t been a big reader, but he asks me to read him a page or 2 from this book he got for Christmas each night. We both look forward to it. Beautiful pictures Nice hard cover Full of the basics about the ocean(s) Filled with facts I didn’t know! Again, we both look forward to our reading time every night because he learns something new together each time. Most exciting is that he’s into reading now because of this book.

I bought this for a 9 year old boy who’s aspiring to be a Marine Biologist and he thought it was the best birthday gift! Packed full of great info and inspiration passages. He loves all the knowledge he’s gaining from reading this. Graphics are amazing, too! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

i think this book is suitable for ages 7 to 9 years old. It is simple to read and fun! The illustrations are really beautiful. it's great for kids! highly recommended!

I always try to get my nephew something educational so he can learn something new and he’s read the entire book! Keeps telling me and my sister the new facts that he’s learned and how cool it is

My eight year old loves this book (and all things about sea life). He has been quizzing me about sea creatures and I am learning some new things. It seems to have a broad range of interesting information.

My daughter thoroughly enjoys any of the books put out by National Geographic. They are fun and engaging to young readers while also teaching them things that they don't know. Highly recommend these books to others with children interested in the subjects that are presented within the books. This is a large book with high quality pictures. My daughter loves to go back and re-read.

Was a Christmas gift for my 12 year old. He loved it immediately and has been spending time (away from iPod) going through species and sharing his discoveries with the rest of the family. The illustrations are great and the format is really inviting for kids to learn. Very happy with my purchase. I also bought the Dinosaur version and it’s equally good.

All the National Geographic books are very informative yet encouraging to read and learn more. The books are great investments for kids and I can guarantee that if read carefully, the kids will benefit a lot in all their lives not only at school. Great intellectualism for kids and teenagers, even for adults. I learn many things from these books as well. We visited several aquariums during the summer holidays and my daughter's knowledge amazed me by giving me lots of information while we were in the museum. Such proud parents here thanks to National Geographic. The books are worth the money.
