After my 1 year old went through his first year of daycare and was literally sick about 4 days of every week with an upper respiratory infection I was desperate to try anything. My friend who just graduated medical school kept telling me to give him vitamin C but I had difficulty finding something he could take. He was already taking Flintstone vitamins so I couldn't see how this could help that much but after taking this product the last 3 months I have been amazed. During that time he has only gotten sick once! He started the vitamin C at age 25 months and I give him half the dosage (one tablet since 2 tablets is recommended for a slightly older child). I talked to his pediatrician and they said not to worry about dosage since he couldn't overdose on it. (He is currently 28 pounds.) He had already been in daycare 13 months and I estimate he probably had about 30 infections during that time, during the winter months it was as often as 1 to 2 infections a week and in the summer about every other week. Granted this is a sample size of 1, but if you are dealing with the same problem, I recommend trying it. I chose this product because it is a tablet and not a gummy, so I feel there is less of a choking hazard for a toddler. Initially, I cut the tablet in half but at about 27 months old I started giving him the whole tablet. My son had already been taking tablets presribed for his asthma so I knew he would be able to chew it. As for the flavor, my son loves it. He literally reminds me to give it to him every night! I tried it and think it's just ok so I am unsure why some people reviewed it saying it was bad. I hope this product works as well for your kids as it did for mine, to me, this was a miracle pill!

My kids love these. They taste good, they don’t have that weird taste some C vitamins have, and the ingredients are pretty clean.

My daughter used to catch a cold often. If one family member or church member was sick she would get it the next day. I was tired of giving the cold medicines all the time. I know for me Vitamin C dosages helped so I tried giving her this. Definitely helps fight the cold and prevent it. She doesn't get a cold or if she gets it it doesn't stay too long. The product is sweet. For some reason my daughter is not a big fan of it. Even though it is sweet she doesn't really want it. Maybe too sweet for her. I give her one especially when one person in family is sick and she takes it and definitely helps her. Product is definitely effective. Taste and compliance may be a little tricky as every kid is different. This product is definitely worth a try.

Good taste. Not too much sugar. They have less mg of vitamin C than I wanted but that is probably because they are intended for children. I bought them due to my food allergies and this was a safe product for me.

We eat it as candy sometimes…. It is that good. Of course limited to two grams per day, but they are truly irresistible

These were bought for my Grandson . He loves the taste of them and now instead of us oldies remembering to give him his vitamin c in the morning he does it for us . We let him tip out a few and he picks out 2 different animal shapes and tells us what kind of animal they are. Recommended.
