One of our favorite party games — nonstop laughs
Cash N Guns is hands-down one of our favorite board games to play with friends. It’s fast-paced, hilarious, and gets everyone involved right away. The bluffing, negotiation, and surprise moments make every round feel different. It’s easy to learn but still keeps things exciting, even after multiple plays. The game always leads to lots of laughs and playful trash talk, and it’s perfect for game nights when you want something interactive instead of overly strategic or complicated. If you’re looking for a fun, high-energy game that works great with a group of friends, this one is a must-have. We pull it out all the time and it never disappoints.

Become a Foam Gangster!
This is a great party game. It plays 4 to 8 players, thought it's best with 5+. Gameplay is generally less than an hour (usually around 30 minutes). In short, it is a bluffing game where the objective is to get the most cash while staying alive - and you get foam guns! It plays over eight rounds. In every round, a pile of loot (cash, art, diamonds) is put out in the center. Everyone has a stack of eight bullets - but only three are live, the other five are blanks. You'll use one each round, but people won't know what you're firing. Simultaneously, every player is going to point their guns at each other - then anyone has a chance to hide (get no loot, but no chance of being shot) - then anyone still up reveals what bullet they fired. Anyone shot by a 'live' bullet takes a wound and gets no loot, blanks do nothing. Three wounds and you're permanently dead. Normally I hate player elimination, but the game is so short that it does not detract from the game! Anyone still standing distributes the look amongst themselves, then the next round begins. That's the general rules - there are some minor tweaks, but that's generally how the game plays. The fun comes in the bluffing and arguing. There is a lot of strategy in when to use your real bullets as opposed to your blanks, as well as when to hide as opposed to running the risk of being shot. The quality of the components is excellent (and, come on - you're pointing foam guns at each other!) and the art is cute. There are also "role" cards you can hand out that gives everyone a unique power, if you like. All in all, it's a great party game that is always chaotic fun.

What a HOOT...but play 1st edition.
This game is amazingly fun as a party game. I play a lot of more serious board games and some serious strategy games, but sometimes you just want to joke around with some friends while pretending to point guns at each other! I will note that I've played both the 1st and 2nd edition. The 2nd edition is worse because it introduced some new rules that in my opinion make the game less fun. The good part is, you can play the 1st edition with the second edition print (because the 2nd edition just added rules). You should be able to find the rules online but in order to play the 1st edition: - Remove the godfather role - Remove the Gems and paintings and extra bullet/ wound cards - Instead of choosing loot one at a time, going clockwise, the loot is divided EVENLY between all remaining players (who weren't shot or backed down). If the loot can't be divided evenly, divide as much out evenly as possible and the remaining loot STAYS IN THE MIDDLE. 8 new cards are drawn (thus the pile gets EVEN BIGGER). This creates a much more fun dynamic in my opinion and allows the game to be much more whimsical. My final recommendation for this game is one that my friend made to increase the energy of playing it. - Everybody should start sitting down but then stand up when you point your foam guns at each other. Just stand up! It gets people moving and people get to have a lot more fun "getting into character" and pretending to threaten each other with foam guns Have fun!

Fun, fast game!
we love this game! My friends and I play a lot of board games. This one is an updated version of the original cash n guns. It's really easy to learn and who doesn't like pretending to be a mobster with a fake foam gun? The rules are pretty basic so you can learn how to play in a matter of minutes. Huge contrast from games like Agricola or Battlestar Galactica where multiple games later you still feel like you're figuring out the rules. It also goes pretty fast so it's a good game for those board game days when people have to leave early. It's also good for large groups because up to 8 people can play. I would say it's a good intro game or good for someone who was a casual board game player (or wanted break from the more involved games). It's still fun if you're into advanced board games though!

Juego de estrategia y negociación. Perfecto para ver las dotes de "negociación" y tramperismo de tus amigos y familiares La versión anterior era más divertida a mi parecer pero sigue siendo un juego buenísimo.

Bought for my husband after he played it at a "man night" with my brother's and loved it. I wasn't sure it be my thing but I tried anyway. Was lots of fun! Not a big thinking game if you don't want it to be but you can definitely put thought into it if you want to- there is strategy here. With 4 players, paintings are king. And being the godfather is important. With 8 players, diamonds are king. Godfather, less important. Paintings still good, but less. Also bluffing or watching what people pick up and who you should aim at, etc..Totally different dynamic with more or less people. But fun for everyone. I like games that you can try at and do well or not and have the chance to still do good or at least float through. You all get a foam gun. Each round, you aim it at a player. You all draw your gun when the godfather of the round counts down from 3. (So you don't know who is shooting at who when you point.) You have 5 blank shots and 3 real bullet cards. You place one in front of you before you point. No one knows which you placed and if you suck at bluffing, you can shuffle them so you don't know either. The godfather can tell someone to point elsewhere (for example if someone is pointing at him/her) but can't dictate who to point at. It also dissuades from pointing at them in the first place sometimes which is useful. If you are shot 3 times, you are out. There are 8 rounds. If someone is collecting too much loot, you want to get them out so it doesn't count and they lose. Once everyone's guns are up, you decide if you want to back down or stay up if there are guns pointed at you. If you back down, you don't take any bullets, but you also don't get any portion of the loot which you need to win the game. But if you stay up and, when the bullet cards are flipped, they aren't just clicks and are actual bullets, you 1) don't get any loot and 2) take 1 or more hits against your 3 life. (There is one loot card that restores your life at some point in the game, but who knows if you will get it or it will be useful so don't count on it.) If you stay up and the guns aimed at you are clicks (or blanks), you get to take turns picking loot. There is 9 pieces of loot (Some money, some diamonds, some paintings, a godfather card, 1 health card at some point, and extra bullets..) and whoever is up and also didn't take a bullet takes turns starting with the godfather picking the piece of loot they want most until it runs out. Paintings have a sort of multiplying value where the more you get, the more they are worth up to a crazy amount of worth if you go after them. Diamonds have a $60,000 bonus for whoever collects the most cards (not the total sum worth) and if you tie, no one gets it. Each player gets a card at the beginning that gives them a special ability. Mine was each round, I could switch one of my cards (obviously a click) for one of my oppositions cards. I would pick whomever had used the least real bullets for a chance at picking a real bullet and swapping out my dud. There are lots of other abilities though. Anyway, really fun game. Simple to learn. Taught to some people who suck at games and instructions really easily and hardcore boardgamers who played to also had a blast. Was good for everyone. We played it in a group of 4 and then a couple rounds of groups of 8 at a different Christmas party. (I just watched on the latter two because I have a newborn.) I would highly recommend. I understand now why my husband was raving about it. Just wish we didn't need 4 people to play. But that is my only con. :)
