However am not sure why, could be the leather type, weather changes, rain, sun etc but now the shoe has shrunk it does not fit me anymore.. and sadly I cannot return it anymore. I feel gutted.

Not the quality expected from timberland
Sole is nothing more than flip flop material, wears out very quickly

The boot heel seems tight so it's very hard to get the boot off
Nice boots but my foot shape didn't suit them , a little too narrow . Not to say it's generally too narrow.
