Life Size Animated Dancing African American Black Santa Claus by Gemmy

This Santa is so beautiful and easy to put together. He’s a real life size Santa.

Was pretty simple to assemble. It’s about 6 feet tall, and didn’t have any problems with functionality the whole month it was up. It was the life of the party!

This was very easy to assemble. He looks great and is a welcomed addition to my Christmas collection. Santa also performs in English and Spanish. It seems to be made of good quality and should last many holidays. Updated: less than two months later. He is stuck singing in Spanish only. I’m so heartbroken for my grandson who is only 3 and doesn’t understand.

santa didn’t work as stated if would. i asked to return for refund, they said yes. sent it back to east coast expediters & they refunded half of my money. said they checked it & everything worked as it should. if this is who you are buying from, save urself the headaches & find another. they are absolutely HORRIBLE to deal with. & will do whatever they can to keep your money, not your business. TERRIBLE.

Perfect shade of brown, overall very satisfied, would have like Santa a little more plump, and didn't have lens for his eyeglasses otherwise love It. Sound very pleasing, quality very good relatively easy assembly.

I saw this item AFTER Christmas and made a note to buy him next year. Then Amazon lowered the price; that and the fact that Gemmy has a habit of retiring animateds after only a couple of years made me go ahead and leap. He is AWESOME!! One of the answers given on Amazon advised that his mouth does not move. The mouth on my Santa moves. Santa himself is a big boy, with lots of hip action. The only caution I will give are for the support bars at the base, which are NOT SHOWN in the picture. One reviewer had mentioned them and I know that Gemmy usually puts them on large animated figures. I mention them because if you are not expecting them they can be quite a shock, by adding another two feet around the base of the Santa. Now for the best...although there was mention of mp3 capability in the description, I didn't pay much attention. However, upon putting him together and reading the instructions, I found there is a connector for an mp3 player on this Santa! Think about the possibilities! I can't wait for Metal Santa or Motown Santa (imagine him swaying his hips to "Papa Was A Rolling Stone!) or British Invasion Santa or Hip Hop Santa or simply Santa singing and dancing to a whole lot of different Christmas music! So, if you are wavering on whether or not to leap, jump in and get one before Gemmy stops making him. This Santa is SO COOL!
