Perfect Little Set (And A Comparison)
Note: I'm pretty sure the one hole - after the 3rd bristle coming up from the grip - is NOT a missing bristle as some reviews have suggested. That is an airhole that allows the body of the brush to flex by giving it a way to 'breathe'. Every single brush of this style that I have ever owned (hollow bodied, rubberized dome, stick bristles) has had a hole like this. (There is a missing bristle on my old pink one there in the lower left area - because it got pushed inside. It rattles around in the body now.) I have purchased this set twice. There have been some changes in the design and I thought it would be helpful to review them both. (Sorry, you're going to see my brush in its pre-cleaned condition - this isn't [photo app] and I'm not a professional photographer.) 2018 Listing: Conair Fusion Hair Brush and Comb, Cushion, Mid-Size, Colors May Vary 2024 Listing: Conair Detangle & Style hair brush set - wide tooth comb and travel hair brush - Detangling Brush and Comb Set - Color at random - 2 Count The first brush, after more than 6 years, has finally developed a crack/tear in the rubber shell that holds the bristles and I will likely continue to use it until it falls apart (I like how it feels in my hand, I am comfortable an familiar with how it feels when brushing out my hair). However, it's always good to have the next on hand when you know something is about to finish out its lifespan. The first one I received was the deep pink one with the flared and then flat bottom - the newest I received is a pale rose gold color (their "Metallic Pink") with the handle that barrels a bit more and starts to narrow before it cuts off. I like the old handle better. Perhaps becomes of age or because of a design tweak, the bristles feel wider spread (more of a dome for the brush core) than the new one. Additionally, the CONAIR name is engraved in the old handle but printed on the new. I don't think the print on the new one will last very long. I have the combs but don't usually use them. Mine feel pretty sturdy and the pink one has survived travel along with the brush. The rose gold one seems to be of a similar quality so I expect it will carry on just fine too. Size wise, they seem about the same length and width, with the overall change being in the handle shape. They feel about the same weight, but out of curiosity I threw them on the kitchen scale. The older (pink) one is 48g (though it does need a bath!) and the newer (rose gold) one is 53g. The grip is a bit short - I have medium'ish lady hands but my pinky finger gets NO place to rest on this handle - so be aware of that. Maybe that's why I like the non-tapered old grip better... it doesn't flirt with my pinky finger. Overall, the new one feels stiffer and a little less comfortable in my hand. This is not unexpected - it has only been used once! I expect it will perform just fine.

Great for Operation Christmas Child Boxes
I like this set of brush and comb. Amazon had them on sale, so I ordered several so I could use them for Operation Christmas Child boxes. They are the right size for the OCC boxes. They are a bit smaller than a normal brush, but made well. I love the different color options! Highly recommend these Conair brushes/combs for OCC boxes for sure!

Great value, great choice
I thought they were slightly bigger than they turned out, but they're just fine even pulling through my long, thick hair, well constructed, great choice.

As Expected
I've been told repeatedly I should use a wide tooth comb for my hair type instead of a regular brush, but I was worried about trying one for the first time after my normal hair brush broke. This product was great because it gave me both a comb and a brush, so if things went poorly with the comb, I had the brush to fall back on. So far, I've had no issue with either product. I've taken to keeping the comb in the bathroom to use while my hair is wet, while I keep the brush in the bedroom to use while my hair is dry. I've had no issues with durability thus far. They are not fold-able, but they are rather small, which makes them convenient for travel. I don't know if I'll buy this specific brush set again in the future (it would depend on my needs at the time), but I'd have no issue with buying another inexpensive brush or comb from Conair.

Hair brush and comb
A bit smaller than I thought, but worked very well. I liked it better than I thought I would.

Highly recommend!!!
Purchased for my Mom. Lots of arthritis in hands, difficulty holding items that are thin. These are great, both have a wide handle. She is able to comb or brush her hair on her own, as she wants it. This is huge for someone in assissted living.

Love these!
Great for the price! I've ordered multiple sets because I keep losing them, but also.. I love these! I use the combs for styling, applying hair oil, and coloring. They are very easy to clean afterwards. The brushes are also easy to clean and very durable. - I've actually used an old one I found under my seat to brush off my floor mats. (I'm kind of a procrastinator and when I have to do my hair in my car before work, I evidently shed a lot.) They work well on tangles for wet, dry, thick and thin hair. The curved handle feels nice in my hand and I like that it doesn't have a rubber grip. I bought them for their travel size but I actually have sets for the car, my purse, and bedside now. Definitely my favorite brushes!
