Excellent quality receiver, plenty of power/volume. Used this receiver in a batwing fairing on my motorcycle and can hear it clearly over the loud exhaust on it. Very pleased and has options I wasn't looking for.

The reason I purchased this was for the remote control head. One of the review questions stated the remote came with a cable. This is incorrect information. The control head has to be wired in as an afterthought. Terrible idea especially for marine application. Very Disappointed

Remote on this stereo DOES NOT WORK, ive had it rewired at my shop twice. If its to far from radio it losing its ability to communicate.

DO NOT BUY THIS STEREO! This garbage is advertised as MARINE...It is not marine worthy! When this unit is exposed to even the smallest amounts of moisture it fails! I had this stereo professionally mounted in my pontoon boat with a protective casing. The first rain to hit the boat filled this stereo with water. Literally filled the unit. When I took the stereo back to the installer they removed the radio...When the tech showed it to me he stood it up on one end and water poured out of the unit. The customer service agent told me I was ,"Out of Luck" and also used curse words. Not professional at all! I will never NEVER buy another JVC/Kenwood product nor would I recommend you do either!
