Bought this to build swing bar doors in my patio. Very study and still working after 2 years.

The hinges are great and work perfectly for my needs.... However, the hardware ( screws ) that are supplied with the hinges are not so good. Very poor quality in fact. The screws are super soft. The head strip out easy and the screw will bend whilst trying to screw them in. Save yourself the headache and use drywall screws or similar instead.

It's really good, it has a high quality that I honestly didn't expect.

The weight of these hinges are a sure sign they will last a long time. They are fully adjustable with easy to read instruction. Screw's and adjusting rod are all included. The set of hinges (4 total) is cheaper then most single hinges. I'm glad I found these because they will work perfectly for my double swing doors.

I installed these on some doors and the cap on several have come off and the stud has backed out. The effect of this is that they are coming apart. They looked pretty heavy duty, but apparently they aren't.

I hate to give anything a poor review but sadly I have to give this a thumbs down. Actually worse than that. The cost of drill bits ruined and all the extra time spent on installing was painful. The instructions are so tiny and not very cleat about needing to install on door casing and not sheet rock. The rods they provide to adjust the tension are so inadequate that they bent on the first hinge install. The blocker pins are so tiny they either fall out or pop out and get lost. It's good that we accidentally ordered extra hinges because we needed the pins from them as well as 3 out of 12 hinges didn't even work. Had to use drill bits, nails and anything we could find to adjust the tension. It was embarrassing in front of the customer to attempt to install such an inferior product. These weren't cheap either. 😕 I think we are owed a REFUND!

Installation was easy to replace old hinges. Adjustment for spring tension was straight forward, but tool included was not quite strong enough, used a drill bit instead and all went well.

They work great, and the price is great. Much much cheaper here than in a store

I like the way I can make my saloon doors tight or a loose swing with these hinges.

For a gasoline station/convenience store we wanted a demarcation between the area behind the sales counter and the customer shopping area. A double swing saloon style door installation was chosen. Small doors were fabricated to come up 36-inches from the floor with a 6-inch gap at the bottom. These are easy for the employees to use even if they have their hands full, they can push through these doors in either direction. What I liked about these hinges is that they can be surface mounted or morticed into the doors and frame. We surfaced mounted them because we prioritized function over aesthetics. So far this has worked out very well.
