Great throwing disc for beginners. My Granddaughter competes with disc in high school sports.

Just got my discus yesterday and I already love it! First thing I did was weigh it and the weight was correct at 1 kilogram. It has 75% rim weight and comparing it to a center weighted rubber disc, there are obvious differences in the feel, flight, durability, and release. It takes some getting used to, but once adapted, will make your throws go farther. I have been using my school’s crummy, old metal discs that rattle every time you pick them up, so this is a much appreciated change.

Not the best quality but decent for non competition throwing.

Very hard to grip. Color is great very vibrant. If you are used to throwing with a mid plate then this discus is not for you.
