Amazingly sturdy, but best for kids 6-12 yo
Due to the useable height of the adjustable handle bars, this scooter will really be great for kids about 3 ft 10 to about 5 foot 3 or so in height. Any taller than that and you're hunching over. The wheels spin pretty well right out of the box, the foam grips are cushiony and comfortable, and my two kids were out zooming around in no time. And in typical fashion, they also just drop it instead of setting it down gently, and despite the abuse, the scooters look no worse for wear.As far as folding it down, we've given up on that because it's not as smooth an action as you would think. The kids just leave it next to the bikes in the garage and these scooters are really so small that it doesn't really take up all that much room. I've seen other models with kick stands and I wish that was available for the A3 as well, since these scooters tend to eventually slide to the floor of the garage and is always at risk of getting run over by the cars.As far as durability goes, the aluminum frame is relatively strong and sort of held my weight (185 lbs) but not without having a bit of flex to it with a feeling of deep dread that it was just going to snap at any moment. And no wonder, since the manufacturer lists the max weight of this scooter at 143 lbs! If you're an adult of any decent height or weight, I'd go for the A5 model, which is designed up to 220 lbs. And besides, the larger wheels of the A5 will definitely help with the ride quality.Overall, for kids, this is light, durable, fast, and reasonably priced.

Really well made!
I guess the fact that we bought a second one after our first got stolen says enough for my opinion about this scooter, but here are some more details why I am giving 5 stars:- So well made! Although there is a maximum rider weight limit, both my husband and I have used it many times and it is still in one piece and works perfectly!- It can last for many many years. My older daughter has it for years now.- The red wheels are so cool but more importantly large enough so you can easily and without any problems go over rough pavement, or some small obstacles on your way.- Very stable! My younger daughter is using a three wheel scooter for now but she already tried this one and it turned out it wasn't more difficult to ride.To sum up, very sturdy, high quality and cool. Worth the buy!

My 6 y/o LOVES this thing!
Our son has autism and has struggled to learn to ride a bike without training wheels, but he loves this scooter and is very good at it! It has helped him learn balance and steering and has given him confidence to learn other things as well. It's very well made and very sturdy. I bought this one because we have a big patio area in our back yard but it has a lot of seams in the concrete that I think the version with the smaller wheels would struggle going over smoothly. It's a much safer ride this way and is a smoother ride too. I bought one that came with damaged packaging but the scooter itself was brand new. Glad I opted for that and saved some $! I can definitely recommend this scooter for any kid (or even adult)! Worth the price and then some. Built to last!

Great Scooter!
I was looking for a taller scooter for my 9.5 year old granddaughter. This one was perfect! The wheels are a little larger than the ones for younger children, but not large enough to add extra weight making it too hard for a child to carry. I had to return a different scooter because one with larger wheels weighed 10 lbs. and was too heavy for a child who has to carry it up steps. This one is light enough, the color is nice and bright and shiny, and my granddaughter had a ball whizzing down the street on it. It arrived assembled and is fairly easy to fold and unfold. I've only purchased Razors for my young grandchildren. They're great!!

Nice scooter
Was a Christmas present for my 9 yr old grandson. He loves it, says it is a smooth and fast ride. "boy does this one get-up and move" he shouted at me whizzing by... lol even has a trick bar... the bigger wheels are more stable. It's a beefier scooter verses the 1st little razors the kids get. Well made... heavier too...

So much fun
Easy to use and so much fun for kids who know how to control a kick scooter. Height adjustment very easy, good simple design and great value for the price. Wheels roll very well. Perhaps not the safest scooter, but my son had experience maneuvering safer ones when younger. We love these because kids get a better, healthier workout than with the electric ones. We always wear helmets, too
