This item did not turn out the same as what is described. When you put the pieces together it is not straight. It does not stay in place when you try to put it up. The paste they send you make the poster wrinkle and hard to straighten out. This product turned out to be a dissapointment and I would not recommend it to anyone.

The image itself was nice and its huge, but make no mistake, this is no walk in the park to hang. Its as bad as hanging wall paper only worse - the paper is wider and heavier and does not adhere well to even slightly textured walls (i.e. your standard indoor wall). There are directions for how do deal with textured walls but if I remember correctly it was a mix of painting and or sanding the wall first. Perhaps someone more accustomed to hanging wall paper would have done ok. I finally got all the top row hanging and left it to dry. I came back a few hours later to find all but one panel lying on the floor in a heap. I ripped the last panel off the wall, trashed the lot of it and we decided to paint on the wall directly with easy clean-up latex paints - which turned out to be far more fun.

This mural is beautiful, but man was it a pain in the butt to hang up. I don't care what the box says, it is not as easy as 1-2-3. We finally got it up, and it has a few bumpy spots, but we love it. We had no experience hanging any type of wall paper, and will never do it again!

I had read a previous review about this product where the wallpaper didn't stay up on the wall and was really difficult to put up. Our walls are slightly textured and painted with a low sheen paint and we didn't do any preparation on it. My husband and I had never put up wallpaper before but we followed the instructions, used the glue included and 3 weeks later it still looks beautiful and hasn't peeled off. It took about 3 hours to do including time to prepare the glue. Everybody that has seen it thinks it looks amazing and assume it's a painted wall mural before we tell them it's wallpaper.

We purchased this mural for my 4 year old's bedroom and couldn't be happier with the results. It comes in 8 large panels and we were a bit nervous to install it ourselves. We hired a woman to install it (cost us about $125) and we are thrilled with the outcome. The mural was so affordable to begin with, for about $200 total my daughter has an incredible bedroom. Very happy with the product itself but can't comment on the ease of installation.

This mural is way better then I expected... I absolutely love it... I really didn't find it difficult to put up, it took about 2 hours... It really made my daughters room a beautiful princess room!!!
