I bought my first desktop computer since 2014 a couple weeks ago. I tried setting it up with an old 24 inch flatscreen TV, and found that the computer's resolution was so much more powerful than the 720p HDTV's max output that everything came out blurry. I found this LG monitor for about $130 and it works perfectly for what I need. The computer I bought is an upgraded Mac Studio M2 Max that I use for music production. I do not need perfect graphics for such a use as this, and this monitor does a perfectly adequate job. The display is clear to my untrained eyes. However, If a person was in need of a monitor for photo or video editing, I would consider one with a higher resolution. All this said, this monitor is perfect for my needs and I am very happy with the price and quality.

Picked up two of these LG 27MP400-B monitors and they’ve been great so far. I mainly use them for office work like Excel and running other programs, and the display quality is perfect for what I need. I’ve also streamed live TV and videos while working and the picture looks sharp and clear. Setup was super easy — just plug and play, no hassle. Nothing flashy stands out about them, but they do exactly what they’re supposed to, and I can’t complain. I’d definitely recommend these to anyone who’s working from home or needs a solid monitor for everyday tasks. I can’t speak to how they’d perform for gaming or more advanced uses, but for basic work and media streaming, they’ve been perfect.

I've only had it for a couple of days, but so far I'm mostly happy with the image quality. There could have been more detailed instructions in the box. I hooked this up with the fairly short HDMI cable provided and didn't see anything on the screen, even after reboot. It took me a few minutes of messing around on the edges and back to find the singe button underneath the monitor to adjust input, etc. It's right up front on my previous HP monitor. It seems like the monitor weighs less than my Kindle. It's a long way since the old CRTs that could be used as boat anchors once they went bad. Two things I don't like: others have remarked that the monitor leans forward slightly, which I don't like. I want to push the top back so the monitor is vertical. [Edit: I mounted the monitor to the wall, and in looking at the detached stand I found that it can be tilted back and forth a bit. It took a lot of effort, and I would worry that it could damage the monitor if you were too aggressive with it, but it does tilt!] The second thing is the razor-thin bezel. It looks nice, but when I place my center surround speaker on top of the monitor, as I've been doing with a number of monitors over the years, the stabilizing element of the speaker now covers up three tabs in Chrome. Same issue with the camera that sits atop the monitor. Overall, I'm very happy with it. It's a very nice monitor. And several months later I'm still happy with it

I bought this to use as a second display for my MacBook, it isn't as high quality as the MacBook screen, but that is a 14" screen that has a much heavier price tag. Love it, only wish it had a second HDMI port, but it has a VGA port, so at least I can connect something else if need be. But works great and has a great quality, I actually use it as my main screen now rather than my MacBook screen.
