I bought the 2 pack of these measuring tapes because I liked that they have a soft vinyl case and push retraction feature. The 120" length is much longer than most, so this is handy when measuring a piece of furniture I see & like or if I need to know if something will fit in my SUV, etc. The 60" tapes are big enough for most things, but this was a few cents more and is 10' instead of just 5'. It's a winner for my needs.

It sure beats rolling up the ancient yellow tape measure I've used for 40 years.

I have had a number of retractable spring-loaded measuring tapes over the years. The always stop working because if it is dropped and the case breaks, the spring cannot be repaired. This little beauty has the entire working mechanism fully enclosed in its very lovely, simple, PU pigskin case with a matching tab to pull to release the tape, and you simply squeeze the sides to retract the tape! This is a dandy little design!

Red is my small sewing businesses signature color so when my old tape measure broke I just had to get this red one and I love it so much. It feels good in your hand and functions correctly. I lined it up with several different rulers and it is accurate even though mine came slightly deformed on the first 1/8"marking (probably from sitting weirdly in a warehouse for a long time) but it doesn't hinder my measuring capabilities. I also love that the tape is wider than others which makes the markings very clear and easy to read. I use this little gem every single day and it shows no signs of wear and tear. Also I just love retracting it as it's so quick and simple yet strong and reliable. I totally recommend this tape measure for anyone but especially sewists as it will quickly become your number 1 tool.
