Excellent Quality/Fulfills Its Purpose
My goal was to declutter my safe and to make the handguns more accessible for maintenance, etc. This product helped me to accomplish that in an impressive way. The kit arrived packaged securely and with everything inside to assemble easily. The steel, polymer and hard foam components all combined to make a handsome, sturdy and very useful unit. I purchased the 12 slot version which fits the top shelf perfectly. Makes a nice presentation of my revolvers and pistols. They are securely stored and easily accessible with no concerns about scratching or banging together. While there were some reviews from a couple years ago stating problems with substandard hardware, I had NO trouble with assembly. Everything pulled together as it was intended. Just remember to thread the nuts loosely until final step. DON’T over tighten or the foam spacers will “pucker”, creating an unsightly assembly! I’m impressed and EXTREMELY pleased with everything about this project. For what I needed and received, it’s certainly a “five-star” product!

Absolutely fantastic
I have bought basically every pistol rack of Amazon over time, attempting to save literally a few bucks off of buying a Savior, thinking I was somehow going to discover some secret method to, well, save literally a few bucks. Some were ok (the main one that was, any subsequent orders of the same rack the quality was a mess), most were absolutely awful and literally $2 of foam for $20, and all just felt cheap and not worth anywhere near the money they were asking - basically just trying to bleed gun people, who are, as we know, notorious for spending way too much on stuff. Finally I decided I'd try a Savior since everyone raves about them. The main thing keeping me away from it till now was the plastic dividers, I'm OCD about things banging into things and making noise, but I figured since the width is wide enough, might not be a problem. From the second I picked up the package I knew it was completely different from any other one I'd bought. Super heavy package, I was literally shocked at that kind of weight as I was used to nothing but the cheapest possible materials someone could pawn off. Super dense foam, good quality plastic, actual metal ends, and solid metal rods (unlike the hollow ones of literally every other "brand"), everything is the highest quality you can get for this price. Setup was a breeze, even with me doing part of it wrong because of my stubbornness in not reading the directions haha, and I could not possibly be any happier with the end result. Plenty of space, looks awesome, quality on point, you couldn't ask for more. Savior and the rack deserves the rep. I get it now. Would it be cool to have a foam-lined insert one someday? Yeah. Is it the end of the world if there's not? No. I'll still buy another when this one fills up. The only "mistake" they made was sending me black when I ordered gray, which actually was the best thing that could have happened because I wanted black anyway, I only ordered gray because it would get here faster. Perfect! Will absolutely buy again. This is one of the only firearm-related products I've ever bought off Amazon that I am 100% happy with and which I feel is 100% worth the money. Don't cheap out on the other garbage racks, spend the few extra bucks and get something you will actually be happy with. Think how much you've already spent on what's going in it haha. And buy from someone who actually gives you a product that matches the price and clearly respects the gun community through the product they provide, unlike the other randar "brands" that are instead just trying to bleed what they can through the lowest possible quality possible. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

Easy assembly, no hardware issues, sturdy. would have preferred it to be slightly thinner
I usually read the 1 & 2 star reviews before reading the higher rating reviews and noticed all the complaints with the threaded hardware. I decided to get one anyway because with 4.7 & over 1,300 reviews the issues must have been an anomaly. I wanted a grey one to go with the inside of the safe, but it stated 2-3 weeks out for grey and I needed to get my 80-100+ year old M1911s out of the travel case for their protection, so I got a tan one. Of course today, the gray ones are back with 2 day delivery!?!. It's OK, I also bought a 4 pistol one in grey so I could put the grey ends on this one. The Savior rack with its steel end plates and through length rods make it about the sturdiest rack out there. I'm not going to be lifting it out of the safe and moving it around, but I might use the 4 slot one to put in the range bag so I can transport more pistols in a single range outing. This set arrived complete, and well packed. The hardware all threaded together just fine, NO THREADING ISSUES. The foam panels were the correct thickness and everything lined up just fine. I tightened them finger tight as per the instructions and it's not loose or anything like that. It is not modular - and the listing does not say that they are modular. You can get a 4, 8 or 12 slot rack. If you want, you can get an 8 or 12, slot rack and make or buy some threaded rods from a hardware store and make a shortened rack of 5 to 11 slots, but that's about your only option. I would have liked the slots to be a bit thinner, say about 1.6 inches wide instead of 2.0 inches. That way a 10 slot rack would fit in the same space as this 8 slot rack. I understand that some pistols are wider, but I don't need the extra slot width. All but one of my pistols are M1911 single stack and can fit in a 1.5 inch slot. You can see in the pics how they tilt a bit, but it's fine. I have some under shelf hangers for the extra ones. Overall, with several color choices, sturdy construction with the steel end plates and the HW issues seemingly resolved make this the best quality pistol rack out there.

Pleasantly surprised at the quality. This is a very durable rack that will last a lifetime. It's not cheap or flimsy at all. Here's a tip when assembling the rack. Attach the screws at one end of rod but not all the way tight, just enough to keep them from falling off. That will give you the extra rod length you need to screw the other ends. You may have to compact it a little bit. I tightened them all the way on one end and came up a bit short, then I loosened the screws to give me a the extra length. Once you have screws on both ends, you can tighten it up. Very pleased with this purchase. I think it's one of the best options out there and fits perfectly in my gun safe. For Canadians that are concerned about compatibility with trigger locks, check with your CFO. My understanding is it all depends on your storage location. If stored in a gun safe designed for storing guns, trigger locks are not required. Trigger locks would likely not fit, however, you could easily customize the slot size by removing a divider to accommodate a trigger lock.

Easy to assembled. But if you live in Canada do not buy this product. It doesn’t work with trigger lock.
