Reliable and vertsatil controller
Recently received this and have been using it for heating and cooling control. The unit is versatile, feels robust with nice and clear display. At first, the setup was kind of confusing. The instructions are not written with inexperienced user in mind, so it was easier to have a hands-on experience with this unit to understand how it functions rather than reading the manual. I used the manual for function abbreviation reference only. So far it has been working flawlessly and has lots of “must have” options if you are serious about heating or cooling control. It has 3 buttons, 2 output plugs and 2 inputs for 2 sensors. If you plug in the temperature sensor in either input, the unit will be controlled by temperature range that you specify. If the humidity sensor is used, than the controller will be using that to trigger both heating and cooling events. The controller is very responsive. I like the fact that the temperature and humidity readings are frequently updated giving you quite precise measurements with little to no delay. The humidity sensor is also very precise (comparing to other devices that I have). I haven't yet been able to test all the functions, but for basic setup, everything seems to be working as should.

Great bang for the buck. Works really well.
There are definitely some expensive systems out thereb and they might be worth it as well, but this setup is really well priced and does a great job. I have a small microgreens setup and was struggling to keep the climate optimal until I got this. Now I don't really think about it and it just works. One thing that would be nice would be some connectivity for the alarms. If the temp goes way to high or low, for example, it'd be nice to get a notification. As it is, that rarely happens unless I leave a door open, but it'd be a nice feature. This setup does have configurable alarms that are audible, but mine is away from where I can hear it normally.

Good product, premium price, also consider the other models from same company
I have several units from this company: This review is on the ITC-608T, which does both temperature and humidity The ITC-308 does only temperature (https://www.amazon.com/Inkbird-Itc-308-Temperature-Controller-Thermostat/dp/B01MDSWXY4/) The IHC-200 does only humidity (https://www.amazon.com/Inkbird-Digital-Pre-wired-Humidity-Controller/dp/B01FQKXRXA) I'm happy with all of them. So which should you get? Buying both the ITC-308 and IHC-200 separately may actually cost less than this combined unit (check the pricing when you read this), and has the advantage that you can plug in a heater, cooler, humidifier, and dehumidifier all at the same time, which is not possible with this combined unit. So what are the advantages of this one? - This unit has a relay rated for 15A, whereas the other units are rated for 10A only. This is especially important for space heaters. - This unit has a timer and multi-stage heating controls, which the ITC-308 does not (there is yet another different model, the ITC-310T, which also has that capability) - This unit has improved firmware: the high and low alarms for humidity can be set almost anywhere in the range, as opposed to the IHC-200, where the high alarm has to be above 50% and the low alarm has to be below 50%. Holding the up and down buttons move faster on this unit. You can quickly change the setpoint by single-pressing the set button, whereas on the other units, you have to hold the button and enter settings mode to change the target. - The probes on this unit unplug for easy replacement. This is especially an issue in very humid environments, where the humidity sensor will eventually rust. and a few other differences which are neither good nor bad: - On this unit the plugs are in the same box as the display and controller. On the others, the plugs are in a separate box on a short cord. - On this unit, when you exit setting mode, one or the other of heat/cool (or humidify/dehumidify) always turns on. On the other units, the differential is also considered, so if the setpoint is near the current value, neither direction will turn on. - The multi-stage timer is available only in heating mode, not in humidity mode. - The mode is controlled by which sensors are plugged in, not by the front panel buttons. It IS possible to run both humidity and temperature control at the same time on this unit, but only one direction of each. First you select one or the other of heating or cooling, and then one or the other of humidifying and dehumidifying.

Quality devices
Good quality brand and device. Works great and user friendly. No need to get some expensive brand that is banking off the industry i.e. hydroponic industry. Price point was fair.

Finally, the ultimate meat cave...
I picked these up in order to convert an old fridge into a drying chamber for drying cured meats. I've been using them for about two months now with no issues. They work just as you'd expect and the ability to fine-tune your temps/relative humidity is great. After you get through the initial setup, there is really nothing left to do but sit back and let them do their thing. I'd originally left two thermometer/hygrometers in the fridge for the first month just to make sure everything was as expected and these controllers kept the fridge so reliably at temp/RH that I finally took them out to use elsewhere once my trust in the controllers was completely solidified. I'm extremely satisfied. (NOTE: in the picture I've attached of the controllers attached to the side of the fridge, you'll see the RH reading above the set 75% at 83%, but that's just because I'd just opened the door on the fridge to take the other picture of the inside of the fridge).

Easy to program and use
These are super easy to get setup. It takes a few minutes to setup your high/low/alarm temperatures and humidities, but once it’s set it’s good to go. Make sure you have enough power cabling to reach your hardware safely as well. And then just mount these suckers out of the way. They tend to be pretty accurate and response time between temp/humidity changes and change in readout is quick. I can recommend these for your garden or aquarium or animal habitats, they work great and take a lot of worry out of caring for plants/animals temperature and humidity levels.

Bought Inkbird temperature/humidity controllers on spec to cure tobacco (requires temperature and humidity control)--lost the crop while drying, irrelevant since never got around to using the devices. Temperature controller used instead to maintain soil temperature in a 16 foot by 4 foot by 4 foot hoop tunnel to over winter artichokes in Zone 6a. InkBird Temperature controller enclosed in a plastic bag resting on soil operating a 1000 watt soil heating cable buried 2"-3" below the surface, and 120V 9 watt LED pilot light on a blue 30 foot extension cord (see photo) via a conventional 6 outlet power strip enclosed in the same plastic bag. Power was supplied to the power strip via a wall mounted 15 Amp GFCI plug protected by a regulation weatherproof enclosure. 6 months later still operating flawlessly. 2 layers of quilted tarps were used to cover the tunnel during an unprecedented one night dip to -26C just in case. Stars removed for accuracy simply to warn the user that I haven't had a chance to calibrate it--up to the user--but more or less consistent with independent but unscientific temperature monitoring Photo shows 2 plastic bags containing (on the left) a Thermoworks Smoke X4 temperature monitor monitoring and broadcasting ambient and soil temperatures inside and outside the hoop tunnel, and (on the right) a bag containing the 2 power junctions (strips) and the Inkbird Temperature controller. The Inkbird temperature probe was inserted into the soil 2" (approx) from the heating cable and programmed to operate at 12 degrees C +/- 2 degrees C. While effort was made to prevent precipitation arising from soil moisture warmed by the cable rising and condensing on the roof of the tunnel, the plastic bags were not sealed.

Both ich-200 and itc-310t setup easily and are working well. Only issue so far is the first digit on the live temperature display of the itc-310t is starting to fail after a week of continuous use. The bottom of digit is no longer illuminating, so temps on display look odd. However unit is functioning well at maintaining the set temperatures. Would have given 5 stars on all points if all displays worked correctly. Small update: The bottom of the first digit has started working again, not fully bright as the rest, but visible.

I bought this combo to turn my trailer into a temporary meat locker for a bull we butchered and had to hang to age for 2 weeks. I have several Inkbird products. They work very well. Good value. Plug and play.
