I Want To Be A Comedian Mr Tarbuck

Bought this as a gift for my husband. He loves it! Lots of stories and anecdotes. An added nice touch is that the author had signed it. I would definitely recommend this.

John has worked hard to succeed and continues to achieve. Brilliant entertaining showman and this book explains the hard journey he has made. Saw him deliver his talk on WW2 Operation Anthropoid and highly impressed by his achievements. A good guy, read his books👍

This book takes you from a childhood, not dissimilar to my own, to John becoming a speaker and comedian (and a very good one too!) through to his brilliant historical research and writing. Just like his history books, it is written in a style that makes you feel he is talking just to you. I'm not a fast reader but finished this in a few days (actually finishing it at 2.30 am one day!) There is laughter (lots of it) drama pain and sadness all dealt with in a respectful and heartfelt way. Thanks for a great book John!
