I bought this serum because I have some acne spots and after start using it, I noticed those spots fading. And my skin started to look bright, glowy and healthy. I loved it.

With serums you have to use them continuously to see a difference, so that change happens gradually over time. Because of that, I started using this product and was using it for about three months without thinking much of it. I wasn’t sure how much it was doing until something came up that interrupted my not all routines and I ended up not using it for two weeks straight. The difference was immediately noticeable. I ended up getting a little constellation of tiny pimples all over my face along with a few bigger ones. That’s when I realized how much the serum had been doing all that time. When using regularly, I may have a pimple every other week (hormones are a hard factor to negate!) and there were none of those tiny little bumps. I don’t see a huge difference in my skin’s redness, but it does help a bit and doesn’t seem to be adding any additional irritation which is a plus. The size of my pores is a little smaller, but I would say that the skin softening serum that numbuzin makes actually had a bigger impact on reducing pore size. However, this serum doesn’t give me the irritation that I got from the skin softening serum so I think it’s a gentler option and a better choice for my specific skin. Lastly, since I’m sensitive to fragrance, I want to include that there is a light fragrance to this product. It’s very light and fades away within 10 minutes or so. I’m not bothered by it at all, but many fragrances do bother me so I though other sensitive shoppers might be curious about that factor. It’s a very light, fresh scent that I’m not really sure how to describe.

Doesn’t work

First of all- I LOVE this serum. It is marketed as a "good bye blemish" serum, and though I can't comment on whether it has helped reduce any dark spots/hyperpigmentation, it does contain vitamins which work as a great antioxidant in combination with a sunscreen in the morning, so I can't complain there. What I really love about this product is the texture- it's lightweight and gel-like, and spreads SO easily across the face. One pump will do your whole face + neck, really, a little goes a long way. And of course, I LOVE the glass skin effect you get on your face! It gives you an instant glow. I would say this product is for you if you're looking for an antioxidant in the morning to use with your sunscreen, that's lightweight and will give you a glow. If you're looking for something to specifically target dark spots/hyperpigmentation- like I said it's too early for me to tell if it actually helps with that, but I get the feeling that this product is much too gentle for that. So I would probably pass on this product if hyperpigmentation is your primary concern. Overall I think it's a great product and I would definitely repurchase.

I bought this after seeing a bunch of Youtubers review this brand and product and had really high hopes. The claims for this product were all things that I struggled with (redness, hyperpigmentation, dark circles) so I thought it would be perfect for me. The first couple days I used it, I did notice a very slight reduction in hyperpigmentation (more in newer acne marks than old ones) however as I kept using it, I noticed I was getting a lot of whiteheads. I have acne however I do not get whiteheads. At first, I thought maybe it was a purge but having a whitehead purge was quite strange for me. I was breaking out in places I don't usually (upper lip, hairline, forehead, apple of the cheeks, etc.) While it was any huge pimples, it was a lot of whiteheads that was making my skin texture really bad. The day I stopped using it, the whiteheads immediately stopped popping up. Overall. really disappointed because it had such promising claims. I think I might use it as like a spot treatment on certain post acne marks that I would like to fade, but definitely not on my whole face anymore.

My face looks amazing and feels so fresh and clean.
