AmtechD0850 G-Clamp Set with Soft Jaws, 2/3/4-Inch

One of the must haves in anyones tool kit. Imagine trying to cut a length of timber on a bench with no one to hold the other end fro you. These solve that issue and also add an element of safety as the wood is clamped to the workmate or bench, especially if using power tools. Thew are well built and are easy to use (rather than those adjustable trigger jobs that seem to fail so-often) well worth the money I spent on them.

2 of the 3 set sheared off at roughly at the same point on each when tightening up & no I did not use excessive force while tightening.Not fit for purpose at any price really. My advise pay more & get a better product.

Worked perfectly for my purpose. I had thought the 4" clamp was unnecessarily big, but I found I needed all 3 clamps for different parts. The rubber pads did not damage the wood.

Don’t often give reviews but these are great clamps. Been using clamps for years and these are by far the best I’ve had in ages. Strong sturdy metal frame, clamping points actually machined flat for a change, smooth and consistent thread and added rubber covers that actually fit and look like they won’t come off too easily. There is very good clamping force achieved and it is rock solid, right angle to the job. Buy these! Don’t look any further.

This is a cute set of clamps. Check the size and think about getting three of the same size or buying multiple packs, since you will often want more than one of a single clamp size for any single job.Aside from that a good set of clamps, as described. Plastic fittings seem secure.
