This works very well, good sound
These are a very good and functional product. The sound is very good and true. I recommend these tuning forks for purchase.

Amazing sound!
When I strike these and hold them up to my ears--one on each side, my body just melts into a puddle of relaxation. If I'm standing, my knees go kind of weak. My husband is a musician and composer and says they are perfectly in tune to a perfect fifth. They are a nice weight and feel like good quality. Nice and smooth, no burs or anything. I like the striker, but would prefer a free standing one. I bought a hockey puck to use and it's too hard for these forks--does not give a nice tone like the softer rubber mallet. I may break down and spend a few dollars on an expensive free standing striker meant for tuning forks, because it's a bit of a juggle to hold both in one hand and strike them with the mallet in the other and then put it down and get one fork in each hand and hold them up--before they start losing their tone.

disappointed
I've purchased thousands of dollars of tuning forks over the years--I supply them to my students when I teach vibrational sound therapy classes. I couldn't get the unweighted C & G tuning forks from my regular supplier, so I tried this company. The stems (the part you hold) are MUCH shorter than other forks I've purchased. This makes it more difficult to hold while working with the fork. The finish of the tuning forks is rough, not smooth, which I don't care for (looks cheaper). I also compared the sound to what I consider higher quality forks and I don't feel they match up. I will not purchase forks from this company again.
