Original box
I had this Vacu Vin Wine Saver kit for many years and it’s very good. I definitely recommend it for home using. This time ordered it as a gift for my friend. When you buy it, make sure that it’s in original branded box with Vacu Vin written on Wine Saver and vacuum rubber stoppers itself. ( it means that you buy the original ones and it will work perfectly and last for very long time)

A must to make your wine remain fresh for a bit longer.
I love wine. I study wine (WSET), and although there are better devices out there, they cost a LOT more, and cost around £4 each time you seal the bottle. If you are drinking your wine over two to three days, this keeps it fresher. Is it perfect, no.But it was also the first item I purchased when the girlfriend took her one away when we split. If you are drinking £60+ bottles of wine, then go for the expensive gas device. If you are not, then this is a must.

It always pays to buy the genuine article!
I made the mistake of buying a so-called Vacu Vin from another online market place, which turned out to be a junk copy that doesn't work (and I am having a problem getting my money back). This one - the genuine article! - works perfectly and totally removes air from part-consumed bottles of wine. And the reassuring "click" indicates job done. So - always buy the genuine Vacu Vin and beware cheap copies!!

Does the job well
I used to re-cork bottles in an effort to keep the wine for later in the week, but it was never the same. After using this for the first time and trying the wine a few days later, I was impressed that it tasted just as good as when I'd opened it.I am not sure how long you can keep it even with the air sucked out, but even if it's just for a few days this is a much better option than re-corking.

Still as good as I remember.
Used to use these, exact model, in a previous career. They are a must if you have a pub / restaurant, but they also come in handy to have at home too for those unfinished bottles to stay as fresh as possible until you can finish them, or of you want to make the bottle last a few days.Easy to use and easy to clean.

Keeps wine from going off and doesn't leak
Really pleased with this. It's easy to use and preserves wine well. I have also tested this with a bottle laid horizontally on a wine rack and it didn't leak
