Fun and challenging
Overall, this is a nice lego set. The instructions are pretty good for the most part. There are a few places where they just show a bunch of parts you need, and then a diagram of what it should look like once the parts are on, but no arrows showing where things go. Generally not a big deal as the diagrams are pretty good and allow you to progress at a nice pace. I only had to go to the youtubes once for clarification on one particular assembly. My kit was missing one part, but Lego's excellent website and customer service got the missing brick on it's way pretty quickly. In short, I do recommend this kit. It is fun and challenging and looks great. If you're a Star Wars fan, I think you will like the end result. I also bought a 3rd party lighting and sound kit that I am eventually going to install.

Best Christmas Gift Ever
Don't settle for off brand. Lego backs their products and had great customer support. A really fun model. My daughter and I milked this build for a month.

Absolutly adore this set. It is a pretty challanging build though. This set was just retired in Jan of 2025 though, so get it while you can.
