I got cut taking the proxy out of the box. I was able to file down the edges for my 11 yr old grand daughter to use. Other than that it is an awesome products. Works as describes!

I have had mine for about 30 years and LOVE IT. I have never had a pot boil over if it is in the pot. I bought this one for a friend because I had been bragging on mine and she wanted one.

It is sturdy metal but has very sharp edges. I have to be careful not to cut myself when I pick it up.

I did not realize that filling the pot too high would still result in boil over. Just be aware. Otherwise, works great.

It saves me alot of cleaning the cooker. I use it whenever I'm boiling or cooking liquid foods, eg soups.

I'm sorry to say that when I received this product, it looked like a dirty soup can lid. There was black residue in spots that looked like motor oil and more of what just looked like grimey dirt. The idea of using it to prepare food was unthinkable. It was so gross that I literally threw it in the garbage.

I was very dissapointed when I got it. No information how to use. I wanted to send it back but tried one way and other way. I found it working when you place it in the bottom of the pot up side down. Not like it is on the photo in Amazon. I bold milk and it didn't come out from the pot! Anyway, test before you trust and buy the kitchen stop watch.

Works efficiently and can't break
