bought this unit thinking it would allow us to use an extra phone line as a hotspot while on the road. It would sometimes connect to a cell signal but the signal had to be strong. Our phones has better reception. While on wifi networks, it little halved the speed of the wifi network compared again to our phones. A total waste of money.

Easy to setup and manage! Plug a DATA SIM card in from AT&T or T-Mobile and the unit automatically sets it up for you. The webboat can also autoswitch from Cellular data to local wifi and vise versa. The app is very user friendly and shows all pertinent information on one screen. The app also makes it easy to customize the setup of the webboat to operate in almost any condition.

Simple to set up. Used with an AT&T data card to provide WiFi while traveling on the weekends.
