Great quality without the stickiness or greasiness. It’s unscented and I feel the moisture and skin protection when I use it to make my cosmetic products. I like the ease of usage and application and I find it valuable for my money without having any waste or left overs.

Just scoop it out of the container and it melts so nicely between hands into a smooth salve. I like the natural light scent. I use it on my face and hands. Doesn’t make me break out, which I am prone to with other products. I use it on my son’s eczema and it reduces redness, roughness and itching within minutes.

Works really well but smells like actual ass

I was worried about ordering this because of the comments about an odor. I feared that it had to do with rancidity, but I was very pleasantly surprised to learn upon receiving mine, that is absolutely not the case. This is the real deal, good stuff! For those that are unhappy about the odor, please know that this is absolutely what pure, unrefined, still very fresh shea butter smells like. If you want it to be odorless you need to order refined, which will have a lot less of the natural nutrients. And the refined could also have a bad odor from being old. I had a skin care business for many years where I made all of my own products, and shea butter was a common ingredient in many of the 56 things I crafted. This started in 2002 and it was challenging to find pure African shea butter that was high quality and not spoiled. I now only make concoctions for my and my family's use, but I will use this shea butter straight, and also mixed in a few potions for my skin. It's really high quality, and not grainy (as can happen when it melts in the heat and is not brought back to a solid quickly enough in cool temperatures.) --- Libby

Order this shea butter twice now and both times I received a well made quality product. They even included a best by date on the lid. The tub is cheaply made however and can crack, but I use it so quickly in my salves that I haven’t had to worry about that. If you plan on just using the shea butter, I would remove it from the container and put it in a better one. Other than that I’ve had zero issues with it. The texture has been good and the shea butter works well for my products.

I've bought other brands of shea butter before, it's what I use for lotion on my dry hands. I just open the container and run my fingers around the top for a bit, letting my body heat melt it just a bit, then massage it into my skin. I'm not a fan of most lotions because they never seem to absorb as well, I can feel them sitting on my skin after application. And the fragrances, I don't like fragrances on my sensitive skin, it just makes me feel like I need to wash my hands again. This butter absorbs easily and completely. Some people dislike the natural smell of shea butter, it's unique and earthy and I can see why some might not care for it. I happen to like it and this stuff smells amazing. Best shea butter I've ever purchased, will definitely get more from this company when I need it.

The product arrived on time and in great condition. The shea butter was creamy, fresh and smooth. Great amount for the price; I would definitely purchase this product again.

The smell is really bad and it won’t go away even if u mix the butter with essential oils
