I have used these for a couple different issues. One being at an altitude of over 12 thousand feet, I started feeling not so great (dizzy, nauseous, and forgetful). Took a couple breaths of the Boost, and felt so much better. I won't be without this on our trips up to the high country. Also very recently I came down with the flu. After I got over most symptoms on came the dreaded cough that seems to last many weeks. This usually prompts me to fill a prescription for a rescue inhaler. This time I thought I would try the Boost first. It has worked so well for me. Much better and quicker healing than using an inhaler in the past. (I'm not suggesting this will work for every person. CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR!!!)

WASTE OF MONEY! I guess because it is oxygen, company feels they can fool you and say it’s in can when it isn’t!? Only explanation I can think of as there was hardly any pressure, feels like nothing comes out, terrible purchase. DO NOT BUY!

So pricey for pilot oxygen. Not sure it was of any benefit. I liked the added flavor which leaves a crisp taste and confirms delivery of oxygen. This is very small pocket sized can. Perhaps 15 doses.

This stuff works. If you have a heart rate monitor and know what your heart rate is with typical workout, give yourself 3 or 4 blasts of Boost and see if your heart rate doesn't drop 20 or more points. It's great for post workout, especially when you've overdone it and feel lightheaded. Have also used it while skiing, to recover when I got fatigued. Helped me recover and ski longer. I like the 4 oz. models for mobility, like carrying in ski jacket, and the large bottles I keep in gym bag. I really can't detect the menthol smell, though.

I think all the bad reviews are from people who have very serious health conditions. You shouldn’t be relying on a small bottle of oxygen to help you with serious lung issues. Anyway, I have issues with anxiety and heart palpitations caused by panic attacks. I realized that I was having trouble with breathing anytime I had a panic attack so I thought it might be a good idea to use a small oxygen can to give myself a puff anytime I feel anxious. I tested it out once (not during a panic attack but just to see the affects) and OMG! I felt more alert then I’ve felt in years! It also immediately lowered my heart rate (which is typically at 100 bpm) to about 70-80 bpm. I also felt like I could breathe more efficiently. The only down side was that I felt a little dizzy but other than that. It felt good! I’d recommend people be careful with this and talk to your doctor before using it.
