Bought this as a gift - they love golf & crossword puzzles so it was a huge hit. However, it is definitely created for people that enjoy challenging crossword puzzles. He has worked on this book for a few weeks and has only been able to partially complete the puzzles, which he doesn’t mind but definitely something to consider when buying this for yourself or as a gift!

This was a gift for an avid golfer & something you buy for a person who who has everything in the sport. The receiver loved it. But I need to add that many questions were difficult. I would highly recommend it for someone who has been playing golf awhile, knows the history & a lot of trivia around the sport.

If you are someone who is familiar with, and solves a lot of “legitimate” crosswords like the Times, etc., it is immediately apparent what an amateurish effort this is. The clues are clumsily written, the syntax is tortured, and they fail to follow conventional crossword design and construction. The puzzles are the fever dream of a linguistically challenged crossword editor. They are not difficult or challenging because they are clever, or because they require extensive knowledge of golf. Rather, they are difficult to solve because of the poor quality of the puzzle construction, and the idiotic phrasing of the clues. Take the time to do a few NYT or Newsday crosswords, and glaring flaws in the puzzles in this book will jump right out at you.

The media could not be loaded. My brother inlaw is a nut for golf and this is the perfect gift. He travels for work all the time and loves puzzles. It will fit nicely for traveling but still feels like nice quality. I appreciate the random facts about golf in the book-some are funny too! All the clues and questions relate back to golf which was the point of the purchase.

The media could not be loaded. Wow, it is ALL GOLF. All the questions and answers are golfing related and it looks like professional newspaper puzzles. The actual book looks and feels 10x better than what I thought I was getting. Thick, and art designed inside too. It is the highest quality puzzle book I've ever bought. My husband's going to love it. I bought the FOOTBALL book from the same company.
