Has two settings Both are easy to understand. works Good, everyone loves to use it. It can detect a penny through a multi layer pocket of a leather vest. Easy to use. I can't stress that enough. And I haven't changed the batteries since I got it. The battery life is amazing. It uses very little energy.

I got it while I was in tech school to play a joke on my drill sgts in tech school just to see if I could keep it because it wasn’t technically contraband on their list of prohibited items. I was pretty well known for my humor and keeping up morale with the company while I was there and anytime packages arrived we had to open in front of our drill sgts, when I opened it he was “Henry, what the heck??” He let me keep it but any how it works great and has a beeping or vibrating feature so you don’t have to listen to the beep if you don’t want to. It has two different settings for depth of examination as well.

Works as advertised. Finds nails just beneath the surface of wood.

Worked great. Bought it to check kids for lighters and vapes. It even picked up a little piece of plastic that had foil back.

I have had to purchase multiple of these models and 2 have already stopped working on me.

My husband uses this on his sawmill to check for nails or wire in the trees he is cutting up. It works like a charm ! Easy to use and just great for it to show anything that may damage our saw blades

Works as expected. Light enough to use all day. Don't buy it for the holster, LOL, it is very tiny and made of cheep, thin plastic that broke quickly.
