MEEDEN Large Art Supply Storage Box, Classic Wooden Art Supply Chest with 10 Compartments, 16"W x 8"D x 6.2"H

I got this for my grandson to use for storing all his sewing supplies. Most sewing boxes were overly feminine and could only have one specific use. This will be versatile and if his interests shift, he will be able to use for something else. The box is very well made and plenty roomy. I loved it and he is super happy with it. Definitely reccommend.

Very functional beautiful and durable

This wooden box, from MEEDEN is pretty much what I hoped it would be. For the price, it’s good quality, and will do a fine job keeping art supplies, shoe polishes-(my use), sewing items, collectibles, etc. handy in one place. I was pleasantly surprised, that although made in China, its not a piece of junk. In fact, I may purchase another one, and would also consider it for a gift. No, it is not equal to a hand built US made Gerstner tool chest, but then again the price doesn’t start at $300 or more. If you want small or medium sized, wooden box for storing items this will do the job nicely. I also, like good quality metal tool boxes, and were I keeping heavy or sharp tools, I would go with a metal tool box over this one. But for art supplies, shoe polishes, etc. this is perfect.

Sturdy, good for odds and ends of art supplies, and portable enough, though I just use it to contain clutter and slide the whole thing onto a shelf. The top tray fits a little tightly, so you have to angle it just right to get it out. If I were better at art I'd decorate it; would make a nice gift for someone artsy.

My first MEEDEN Art Box, fold out, was so incredibly well made I ordered this box without hesitation. My expectations were dashed, not by MEEDEN but careless handling. There was water damage from the cardboard box. I didn't want to deal with returning to UPS for something I could repair. So I made an offer for a partial refund, even if off my next MEEDEN purchase. Instead I received the most genuine and kind messages from a company that I've received, ever. Not only did they apologise extensively but informed me that a new box was being sent, with no need to return the damaged one. It arrived in 2 days and I couldn't be more impressed. There is so much to say about these European beech artist boxes. The joints, although finger and not dove tailed, are 100% accurate and add significant strength (for when its loaded with oils!) but also an old school craftsmanship. The cuts are precise and the natural beech grain is genuine and gorgeous. The hardware is as strong as it is classy brass coated. Difficult to believe that it was made on assembly line. The handle even has a leather smell and feel. I don't think these will ever be put away, and that's a very good thing to keep you painting. It's been such an amazing experience, both quality and amazing Customer Care. And this applies to the 1st box that has imo, an award worthy design and the heavy duty table top easel just rec'd. Next will be the big H-frame easel. I will never look beyond Meeden in the future and will sing it's praises for years. These lifelong investments that will raise your art game and spur your passion to paint. You couldn't ask for more from a company. You'll most likely become a Meeden supporter once you open one of their products. This has been an ideal experience to get my art passion reignited. Almost a feeling that like happy energy sprinkled over each Meeden product. These pcs are in themselves, Works of Art, that will inspire you as well. And their customer care, should you need it, is second to none here in the Amazon Jungle. I believe you cannot go wrong with MEEDEN. I'll add photos later. Thank You for Reading this.
