Q: Do you have to switch this on each time that you use it, even though it has a power supply? I.e. does it switch off automatically?

In my case I needed it to be able to use my Bluetooth headset to listen with out disturbing anyone else, so all I did was plug it into the same power source as my TV so that it is ready to be used any time the TV is on. I hope that is useful information for you. 👍

Q: Would a couple of these act as a bluetooth pass-through bridge between an analog line output (5.1 decoder) and an analog line input? (amped speakers)
