This cotton yarn is beautiful and comes in all sorts of vibrant colours. It's is very easy to crochet with and is well suited for making all types of market bags. There is no piling after lots of handling. The yarn is not as soft as some other cotton yarns but it depends on what you want to crochet but it is in no way a ' rough . Although this is an ' aran ' weight yarn it does feel a little thinner than other brands but it does remain very suitable for patterns that call for aran / wostered weight cotton. The yarn is strong and doesn't split easily and I have not come across any 'knots،،،" It washes like a dream with no colour loss and the colour doesn't run. I highly recommend this product. It is a little expensive, depending of what you are making but it is really worthwhile

Interesting yarn, it is braided so has a rough feel but is actually smooth so I expect it to have less fraying and hobbling than regular 8 ply cotton yarn. The pack states mercerised but unlike the mercerised cotton 8 am used to from Scheepjes or anchor this has no shine to it. It is easy to work worth, I am using it to crochet a plant retainer ( to reign in my lavender) so I chose the two colours that best blended in with the lavender, which are the sage green and the purple , both are dusky colours, muted and work well for my project although the purple is much lighter in real life than on my screen whereas the green is exactly the same. Although it is 100g, because of the dense braided nature of the yarn, that doesn't equate to a long length. Definitely recommend for any structural projects, it could init up into a sturdy jumper or socks, but I personally wouldn't use it for clothing, it's more suited to sturdy things like toys or practical items like bags or pillow cases in my opinion.

I needed a good colour to crochet the inside of my cucumber slices and this was what I could find. It's a nice sturdy wool almost like a thicker embroidery thread. Although I would say not for anything you want to crochet that's fluffy. The colour matches the photo so you get what you are paying for. The only downside is £5+ is expensive for one ball of wool, although again, it appears to be a better quality and embroidery thread is expensive anyway.
