Its coating actually
Its like a transparent thick paint , varnish or enamel paint , it is coating properly and easy to use and dries quick. Now I need to put the painted items under test, I used this spray to coat my Generic car emblems and wheel center hubs , they get easily faded and rusty after washing the car and exposing those to the sun light, they are not original that's why. I bought a new emblems set and paint them with this spray properly..so I can not judge how this spray can handle this situation and how strong it will protect the coated material. Hopefully its ok, and the the set I bought will live longer than the old ones !

As mentioned in the title, U purchased on the strength of reviews here and hubby's knowledge of this product. He's worked with various Rust-Oleum products over the years in his job and highly recommends this because of the quality reputation of the company. I will be using this as a sealant for the water slide decals I bought a few days ago.
