It worked great 👍 helped stop itching even if it was for a short period.

I had been using calamine lotion before I was recommended this- my little girl really didn't like it, but as soon as we had Virasoothe- it was a game changer and even she was helping to apply it!! We either sprayed directly onto her body or into our hand (when applying to the face) and it was an instant relief. It doesn't smell and isn't sticky and there is enough in the bottle to last a while. Very glad we used this!!

This spray pump isn't the easiest to use to provide a good spritz rather than a squirt and it's very thin hence the reduced stars. 1st child who had chicken pox used a combination of this and Eurax. I would rub his cream in and he liked to spray the odd itchy spot himself. His chicken pox was far milder than my 2nd child who currently has roughly 200ish spots at a guess and he complains of itching far more. This spray however has caused a reaction and my son now has a bright red prickly heat looking rash all over his back and stomach. He didn't spray his legs and his legs aren't covered in the rash, only his chicken pox. So I would say it depends on the individual or skin type. I suppose we are all different. I had to rinse off this spray as my son was in discomfort. I should add it took few days of using the spray for the rash to develop.

Amazing product I wish I knew about this for my oldest, instead we went through the tedious and painful calamine application. This on the other hard is hands free, spray and go no tapping, no stained clothes, cools down the itch.. amazing
