My 92fs fits perfectly without the need to do the break in. I love the color and how it sits on my hip. There is no wiggle room, but it's not tight, it's firm. The quality of the build is also fantastic, I love the stitching and the leather is not going to fall apart on this. I may get a second one in another color, I absolutely love this holster, thanks.

This is my second 1791 holster. I bought my first after I had "plastic" holster fail during a training course with a nationally known instructor. How embarrassing! I decided to ditch the plastic, and go with good old fashioned leather. Not being impressed with some of the offerings I saw a the big box outdoor stores, I purchased my first 1791 holster for a 1911. It exceeded all my criteria.. its rugged..built like a tank.. has a retention strap.. is comfortable, is easy to manipulate, holds the handgun securely..and to some extent, looks good as well. When I needed to find a holster for a 92FS, I didn't even have to think about it. I ordered the 1791 with a retention strap in AWESOME looking signature brown. I couldn't be happier with this product. Breaking in the new holster was EASY. Basically holster the pistol and stretch it around a little bit. After a very short break-in, I wore it to the range for most of the afternoon . I found this holster to be very comfortable. It held my pistol very securely. Great product, I will definitely buy another when I need another holster. Highly recommended.

This holster is thick and made with good quality and attention to detail. It fits my 92fs and after leaving the pistol inserted and the strap snapped for a couple of days, have no issues with the workmanship or fit.However, if you want to carry with the safety ON and one in the chamber, you may have issues with this holster. The safety strap is in an odd location and any sideways pressure on the holster (like snapping the strap in place) disengages the safety on the pistol. I tried adjusting the strap downward so it is below the safety, but any upward pressure disengages the safety.I read that a lot of people carry the 92fs with the safety disengaged and the hammer de-cocked, which is fairly safe given the hefty trigger pull. The holster does protect the trigger and the strap should prevent accidental cocking of the pistol in this configuration but this is a safety concern that I'm surprised 1791 never addressed, and I'm likely to carry without a round in the chamber for extra safety.

The product itself is very nice quality, the leather is put together well and is sturdy, however I previously had a CZ p-09 and it didn’t fit at all, I now traded up for a CZ p-07 which is a smaller model than the p-09 and it still didn’t fit the holster. Even after breaking in the holster, the strap just didn’t reach on the p-07, it did fit the barrel of this firearm though, so there’s that. I suppose if you don’t mind leaving the thumb break strap off, it’s a nice holster, but then what’s the point of purchasing this holster model?

My Beretta 92FS dropped right in and snap closure was perfect with no break in required. The quality of the leather and stitching was first class! The holster has a bit of a curve to it so it fit perfect against my hip. I couldn't be more pleased with this holster especially after reading some of the negative reviews. Based upon my experience I would highly recommend this holster. The quality and fit are as good as any holster I have paid quite a bit more for. So the bang for the buck, pardon the expression, is excellent.
