Well made, solid product. Purchased to use on 55gal drums. Be aware that the US plastic drums like mine have coarse threads, while these international (Chinese) spigots have fine threads. I had to buy adapters separately so I could use them. I couldn’t find any spigots with coarse threads that would be suitable for my needs. I’m happy with the end result, but didn’t know of the additional cost involved. You’ll want to check which threads you have first, as the diameter is the same.

This works perfectly! Super easy to install! If you're adding a tap to a barrel, this is exactly what you need. Just get it! Much safer than using the cheaper plastic ones I got earlier.

I Messed up, thought it would be 3/4" on both sides of spigot, one was 1/2".

The threads on this are not a tapered pipe thread so it will not get tight which causes it to leak if you leave the barrel on its side, ready to pour.
