This is a lovely little set for children learning CVC words. Some of the cards might be difficult as they are words that may not be used commonly. For example, RUG is a picture of a blanket and not a floor covering. But it is a good quality set. Highly recommended.

Americanised, I had to take out cop, cot (camp bed) etc. Also the bits fall off the easel very easily so maybe better for slightly older toddlers.

Really good quality, attractive teaching tool. Great value, I’ve bought four of these!

I like the fact it’s wooden and cardboard card. It’s a clever game to get kids engaged with phonics.

It's a great shame that this reading aid isn't larger and sturdier as it's a great idea but is very small. Also the packs of picture cards are unfortunately limited in scope as both packs contain the same pictures and words which isn't very helpful. There are so many three letter words to help children with reading difficulties and this does not provide enough examples to make it really worthwhile. I have given it four stars, because I think the idea is great. It just needs to be sturdier and the picture cards could be better.
