My daughter is in first grade and my granddaughter is in kindergarten and they love playing with this as they are learning their sight words. We play games with it or they play school with it. Great learning tool!

Nice features are: box & presentation, the clarity of the print and the (partial use of) colour coding . I am unable to use this with my students effectively because it is difficult to make questions. Yes we have verbs in the box....all coloured red ( regardless of the tense) Example You can make the sentence:- We work at school. But the student cannot make the question form (Do we work at school? ) because there are no cards showing the auxiliary verb DO! So it is NOT possible to form any question sentence which requires using do or does because these are not contained in the pack! Beware all ESOL and EFL teachers - this pack will not save you loads of time..you will have to faff around (as I did) adapting it. The only way to make questions using the magnetic cards in the pack is to use a modal verb like CAN (provided) and this way you are able to create questions such as Can I / you/ he / she / we / they work? I was disappointed, as the idea is good but the makers would have done well to consult an English language teacher. I wasted good money on this . Obviously it could be argued that it is a bit of fun with words for children..... but why not provide a versatile quality product which works for a wide market, including real educators?

Not enough high frequency words. Ie and, the, they, that, is, it or an. Not enough words overall buy extra packs. Coloured words came with it
