I was torn between this mic and the Shure mvl but this was cheaper at the time and it has been great. I have used it with the DJI wireless mic and it was perfect, as well as direct to camera (via extension cable). Both times it has captured superior audio to the on camera mic and now it is my go to lav mic.

I use these as a reference for what is acceptable. It does a good job, and you can compare other lavaliers and mics against these. Affordable when on a deal or like I did, bought from Amazon Resale. Simple to use USB-C. Note that these aren't made to be easily conceleaedu. They are not Cos or Countrymans, but they do well at their price point. Good.

Robust, multi adjustable stand and excellent sound quality. I use mine to post watch reviews on you tube and it has proved invaluable.

Crackling on the audio which I can't get rid off. £58 wasted. My £8 mic sounds better with exactly the same setup

This microphone is not inherently a bad product but for the price I don't think I could recommend it for what I'd imagine most people would be purchasing it for. Personally I was looking for an affordable and low profile solution to connect to my PS5 so that I could communicate with friends/other players in game chat/party chat. (I route my audio through my PC so my main microphone is set up on that for discord etc). However, plugging straight into the PS5, there is just too much background noise and static hiss present. More than I'd be comfortable with subjecting friends and other players to hearing. I thought maybe it was just a problem with the PS5 but I plugged it into my Samsung Galaxy S24 and experienced the same loud background hiss. The quality of my voice was better with the Sennheiser vs my phones built-microphone but the overall quality of the recorded audio (background hiss et al) was pretty unpleasant. If you're planning on editing the audio you capture with this microphone in post-production (EQ'ing, De-essing, Noise-reduction) then it might be of some use to you still but if you're looking for a "plug and play" solution to upgrading audio capture then this isn't the one.

This Sennheiser Clip-On Lavalier Microphone is plug and play with my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. Native camera app detects the microphone immediately upon insertion and selects usb as a source. Great product.

This is quite clear and accurate as long as there isn't clothing, such as a collar, obscuring the microphone. The clip would be better if it swivels. The cable is a good length.

Mainly got this mic to communicate while on my PC with friends, in meetings, or in games. Also wanted something I could use as a simple lav mic with a camera if needed. Works great and sounds great, doesn't pick up too much background noise. IMPORTANT: Know what port you will be plugging it into to, this is a TRRS connector. -If you're using this on PC, and plugging directly into a Microphone (pink colored) 3.5mm jack, you will need a TRRS to TRS adapter. -If you're using it on a Mac, Smartphone, or laptop with a single 3.5mm it should work just fine without an adapter.
