The aluminum case is a nice, airy kit with lots of ventillation but it leaves out a key component clearly shown in the photos -- no external antennas. The kit goes together well; it has lots of little screws and the instructions are thin (read: plan to figure out details by yourself) but the assembled kit is solid. The case has lots of slots for ventilation and the fan included in the kit is unnecessary for the Jetson Orin Nano - it already has a fan installed. One minor nit is that the microSD card is not accessible from the outside, but that is an Nvidia Jetson bug, not an artifact of the case. That said, you have to remove the plastic antenna bracket lack on the Orin Nano kit to fit it inside the box, so omitting the external antenna is a MAJOR failure. Why do I expect a pair of external antennas in the kit? First, it is a metal box, so any antenna needs to be outside the box to be even remotely efficient. Second, the instructions have you remove the Jetson (plastic) frame that includes the original, basic antennas. Third, the video instructions CLEARLY SHOW the green box being assembled with two antennas as part of that process. Finally, the product photo shows two antennas; yes, they are grey and not black - oh, they just editted the black antennas out of the photo and put in grey filler pixels. Yeah. These last two points are terribly misleading and torpedo my assessment. One star.

great case, works wonderfully

Very sturdy. Good ventilation. Camera bracket is cluegy looking but very versatile by providing holes for either one or two cameras.

I have just spent 2 hours getting 4 screws onto this case. The high walls on the bottom of the case make it near impossible to get in place and tightened. Who also thought a brass fastener should be direcdtly beneath the power button? If you were going to do that DON'T ATTACH THE POWER BUTTON, why did they attach the power button then? If you are a 9 year old girl with little fingers it may be acceptable. Case looks great, but it has ben very frustrating and I plan on sending mine back.

The quality is good, it's a nice looking piece. My major issue with it is that mounting the board to the case requires you to remove the built in Nvidia wi-fi antenna but the kit doesn't include the external antennas. So, no wi-fi unless you search around and find the correct external antenna. I would have happily paid extra for a kit that includes this and the cameras.
