Great fan, with rechargeable AA batteries you will have no e-waste. AA Eneloops last 5:10 hrs.
Got it on discount at £12 and it seems a very good fan. Only one speed and it isn't quiet or too loud, it's somewhere in between. A very powerful flow. Despite what the description said about no batteries being included, some zinc heavy duty GP AA batteries were included. I took these out to save them for the remote controls and just popped in some Eneloop rechargeables as they won't last very long. It does come with a USB cable with a barrel adapter plug which disconnects the batteries when in use. Not micro USB or usb C, so it's a shame the fan doesn't have a space to stow this cable away. Feels a good quality product and doesn't have that cheap plastic smell that you get from lower quality products. If your going to use this on batteries, grab some white Eneloops or Eneloop Pro for a longer runtime. I'll amend this review later with a runtime test. I Ditched the alkaline batteries long ago. The Eneloops will be good for thousands of charges and unlike most battery fans now adays, it's not e-waste the moment and internal battery dies as you can just buy a new set of rechargeables. Definitely one of the better models. Only downside is one speed, but it can be felt from a metre away. The included batteries are heavy duty single use low capacity zinc ones (though good ones) and will likely drain fast so save these for your TV remotes or wall clocks as they will do that job just fine. It says on the back the consumption is two watts. Don't use alkaline batteries for best performance, a pair of Eneloops or other decent quality rechargables will give a constant voltage up until being fully drained UPDATE: Eneloop Whites (2000mAh) will get you 5 hours, 10 minutes of use. Eneloop Pros (2500mAh and higher current draw allowed) will give you 7 hours of use, both tested with a stopwatch. This fan also has an big advantage that while the charging connector is not USB C, it completely* disconnects the batteries out of circuit when it is inserted, so if you want to use it on the mains, but keep a fully charged set of batteries in so its ready for on the go use. Don't bother with Alkalines in this fan, just grab a high end set of Eneloop White or Pros (white allows more cycles), or if on a budget get Ikea Ladda 1900s / 2450 batteries, both are made by the FDK factory in Japan but the Ikeas are NOT eneloops but close to their specification. The only negative id give the fan is the battery compartment actually lifts out under the cover and is a bit fiddly to remove and reinsert and it doesn't feel very fragile but something that could break if a lot of force is used when handling it. Now this has been tested my partner bought a second for this summer. Update: Fan still running well having used it continuously for days at a time in this hot spell. The only quirk is the HoneyWell logo appears to wear off even if you don't touch it but the function seems to be good even when ran non stop for days at a time. Plastic feels sturdy.

tad noisey
small desk top fan, intense direction, quite noisey, but good cooling...

A little noisy, single speed setting.
This fan has only one speed setting. It is a little more noisy in operation compared to a similar USB powered fan I have from Muji.

Dont waste your money
Takes longer to charge than ues, not as portable as they claim as it seems you have to have it constantly plugged in, which is not what I wanted

Well directed airflow in a little package
Great little versatile fan. They go through the batteries though! :) But overall worth it. Option to plug in very useful.

Nothing turbo about this fan. Their normal fans are awesome, but this was a disappointment. My $10 fan has more features like 5 speed settings and an ultrasonic mister.
