Gator Recoil Retractable Truck Bed Tonneau Cover | G30335 | Fits 2019 - 2023 Ford Ranger 5' 1" Bed (61")

Purchased this retractable Gator cover for my 2021 Ford Ranger work truck. Huge box arrived and after unpacking and going through all parts found 2 bolts and a foam wedge missing. Called Gator to get missing parts and was told since I purchased through Amazon I had to call Amazon only (as if Amazon puts the build in the box at the manufacturer). Called Amazon and was told I had to take to UPS and would only get my refund after UPS scanned the package for pickup. I decided to go to hardware store and get the missing bolts. Foam wedge I cut from some previous packaging. Instead of sending back and dealing with trying to put all the parts back in the massive box I decided to actually install. Well....not so simple. Instructions are poorly written, the fit is not exact at all and it took 2 good hours to get the cover in. After I got it installed and secured I found a sticker on the inside of the retractable box that said GMC. WTF! Was this a wrong part altogether for my Ranger? I recommend you NOT buy Gator Retractably Cover as I wont ever by anything from Gator. I'll use this for work and if it craps out I'll just dump. Not worth the money and their customer service is awful!

Despite putting in correct info for my husband's truck's make and model, the tonneau never fit his truck. We took it to a number of people who all attempted to fix it but ultimately, despite many attempts to, it simply doesn't work. We tried "rigging" it multiple ways because we were outside of the window for any warranty/refund/exchange when he got it as a Christmas gift, and even with so much work on this tonneau, it has been awful from the get-go. It leaks, does not fit or lay flat, is a pain in every sense of the word. Massive waste of money and now we are buying a tonneau from a different brand!

This cover may work well, but they are extremely misleading in selling this to ranger owners. Put this on, installed it correctly, and it didn't fit eh truck. The end of the bed wasn't covered entirely. The prongs when installing are too big for he ranger bed. Overall, doesn't fit.

I would not purchase this product again. It took my husband and son 3 hours to install. It is not easy to open and shut. It came off the track and has not closed since. We’ve only had this product for four months and my son wants it off the bed of the truck because it looks terrible and doesn’t provide security. For the amount of money we spent, this product is not at all worth the expense. I have a serious case of buyer’s remorse.

Fits great, fairly easy to install, overall great product.

I bought this bed cover because of the high review score, however after 6 months I am floored by the scores. It is made well but lacks in design, what do I mean by that. I have removed & reinstalled the cover 4 times & with added rubber & black foam to no success. The way it buttes up to the Tailgate is severely lacking, it literally leaks like a Waterfall IF the rear of the truck is lower than the Front so make certain the Front of the Truck is lower than the Rear, it still WILL leak just not as bad. I’m pulling it & tossing it, I’ve struggled with the leaks to long at this point it’s to late to return it. I am VERY surprise in the faulty design. I’m guessing most of the reviews are from Arid Regions of the country where it doesn’t Rain then it would be fine !
