Wow!! I bought this a few weeks ago because I thought I was allergic to Butylene Glycol, so I was looking for Kbeauty essences that didn't contain it. I found this one that was recommended on Reddit and I gave it a shot. Turns out, I'm not allergic to BG, but was destroying my skin barrier with other products too high in pH. This essence has COMPLETELY transformed my skin in such a short amount of time. I will actually layer this about 5 times after cleansing because it makes my skin feel so hydrated, so bright, and plump. It has completely taken away my redness and my skin texture has never looked better. It comes in a luxurious glass bottle and feels so high end. The texture is watery and glides so easily on the skin. My skin never feels sticky with this ever! So I know oily skin gals will love it. I hope they never stop making this! For reference, I have normal-dry/dehydrated skin with sensitivity issues. My face loves this essence!! I truly feel I will never replace this one!

I love this essense and my second bottle. It's moisturizing and very soothing no matter what "damage" you've done to your face lol with all the things we women do to improve things. Also put some in spray bottle for after shower body spray which I do with alot of my essenses. I would recommend this product.

I have used the SK II lotion for many years, can't keep affording it sadly. I'm trying every dupe there is. This is not a dupe! It does not have the same feeling on the skin, or the same fermented smell. SK II smells awful, it smells like fermented rotten rice like bad breath. But it hydrates and plumps, adds a nice glow to my skin that other products don't. This smells like nothing, which I don't mind, but most fermented products don't smell good. I wonder how much of the galactomyces it has? It doesn't make the skin feel hydrated. It feels just like water after application, my skin feels moist after SK II. I'll use it up especially with DIY sheet masks, and it's not awful, but it's famous for being a SK II dupe which it isn't at all. If I forget that it's supposed to be a sk ii dupe, it's a super light watery lotion that doesn't really hydrate, so not really worth the money since there is a lot better at a similar price

I see a lot of beauty influencers recommend this, along with the Missha Essence, as a great dupe for SKII. The texture is very watery, and it doesn't smell much like anything. I do use about 2-3 layers of this each time, since it is very watery and relatively affordable, to keep my skin well hydrated. Then I follow up with a serum while my skin is still damp to help with product absorption, then layer moisturizer on top. Because this is a lot more affordable, compared to other FTE essences, I use this very generously on my face and neck, and do feel like it is very hydrated after using it. Highly recommended for someone who want to start using fermented products on their face.

This is a really great essence. It has made a huge difference in my skin in a very short time. I used another essence for about 9 months which was fine for moisture but I never noticed a difference in my skin tone or texture (and it was twice the price). I was just hoping this would kept keep my face from drying out in the winter bc moisturizer alone isn’t enough anymore. But after about a week I noticed a new softness and glow to my skin that I’m pretty sure came from this essence. I wasn’t expecting that at all and am very pleased.
