STP 17922 Heavy Duty DOT 3 Brake Fluid, 32 fl. oz.

The bottle came without a cap. I had other items shipped to me in the same box, including clothes. The bottle came sealed, but without a cap. I checked the box, trying to see if it just fell off. Nope, it was shipped that way. If the seal leaked, that would've been a disaster, not just for myself but for other customers as well, since break fluid is very toxic and very corrosive. Now I have a half-empty bottle with volatile chemical, for which I have to improvise a lid. Pretty disappointed with packing services. As for the product, it was decent and did what it supposed to.

It seems to be very difficut to find Dot 3 "heavy duty" brake fluid in my area that is NOT synthetic. Why that is, I have no clue. Thankfully Amazon carries the non-synthetic stuff, which is exactly what my vintage car needs. Got it at an excellent price and delivery was the next day. How can you beat that? Thank you Amazon.

This does the job exactly as needed. I had more than enough to refill the brake system on my 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited after I did a lift which require do longer brake lines. I’m not sure of any long term issues that may happen, but if your situation is similar to mine then you can be certain this product will get the job done.

It is getting increasingly more difficult to find non silicon DOT 3 fluid for those of us who still tinker with 50 year old cars. When you do find it locally it is usually in very small bottles at high prices, making its cost per ounce prohibitive. A 32 ounce bottle of a product by a known manufacturer is very welcome.

If your automobile needs DOT 3 break fluid this is one of many brands that will do the job. I used to do a complete break job on my 2006 Saturn Vue. Front, rear, wheel cylinders, and master cylinder.
