Ate these counterfeit??

These spark plugs probably ARE counterfeits (very good fakes). I purchased another set from a national autoparts retailer and NGK dealer to compare against. They are almost identical with the exception of two key differences: 1. One of the individual box panels of the Amazon spark plugs reads "Assembled in Thailand." The box of the legit ones from the brick-and-mortar store reads "Made in Japan." 2. The spark plugs from Amazon are embossed "NGK" on the metal collar right above the washer. The embossing on the ones from the brick-and-mortar store reads "Japan." Do yourself a favor and purchase quality spark plugs from a legitimate source. By doing so you'll have the assurance you are installing parts that will perform (100K miles for real NGK spark plugs) and won't damage your vehicle.

Are they already gap?

Yes, iridium plugs are gapped at the factory due to the high potential of scratching the tips when trying to gauge the gaps. If you do want to double check the gaps prior to installation, don't use the coin measuring tool, but one that won't put pressure on the iridium tips.

This is original Ngk ?

Mine appeared to be after watching several videos on counterfeits. Then just to be sure, I called NGK USA customer service and gave them the plug number and lot number. They confirmed the lot number was valid. (This was all last year.) The NGK person asked me where I had purchased them and i told him Amazon. He stated that there were currently (again this was 2020) significant counterfeit issues on ebay purchased NGK Iridium plugs minimal issues on Amazon. Safest bet IMHO is to buy them from an auto parts retailer.

GENUINE NGK PLUGS AT A GREAT PRICE

THESE ARE GENUINE NGK PLUGS. I submitted information to NGK's customer service dept including pictures, production codes, and resistance measurements from the plugs and they confirmed that they are genuine NGK. I have not had a chance to install them yet but I will be soon. If I was not positive that they were genuine I would never take the chance of ruining my engine on a plug coming apart or failing early.

No complaints so far and look to be genuine NGK

No complaints so far. I did inspect them before installing and they look to be genuine NGK spark plugs according to NGK's article "How to identify NGK SPARK PLUGS." The NGKs replaced fake Denso spark plugs from eBay that had worn center electrode tips after only 13k miles (my cheap fault). My worn spark plug gaps ranged from .065" to .073" when they're supposed to be around .044", which the NGKs are pre-gapped to. After installing the NGKs, instantly noticed the increase to normal engine performance. Ordered 2/11/25. Received and installed on my 2012 Acura TSX on 2/12/25.

Authentic NGK plugs (verified by NGK customer support)

These are authentic NGK plugs. Just to be sure, I contacted NGK customer support to verify the authenticity of the plugs. After an inquiry email, a customer service representative contacted me with in 24 hours. I had to send several photos of the plugs and received my verification the next day. I also tested the resistance of each plug with a multimeter, and they were all within spec. Great price and authentic! What more could you ask for?

After installation, the car is still have idle sharking issue sometimes. But milage seems improved a bit.
